I started going to River Island in about 2004 ish. I love it. No other shop does anything like them. I love the jeans with rips all over, writing inside and out. T-shirts and jumpers with random numbers and writing on them, messed up. Funky belts and hats, etc etc. If I won the lottery I would still shop there! Just a hell of a lot more lol =)

yeh i was at the river island sale on boxing day, it was absolutely packed, but i got some awsome bargins, i love all the cool new cardingans. everything wsa on sale and i got loads of stuff. u should also go to Top man, its a bit more expensive, but i think it has better T-shirts

lol nah the sale started at 10:30 ( I still found it hard to get up on time)

I spent £40 on jeans (two pairs of skinnys)

and i bought 2 cardigans( bout 20-30 together)

and i bought a few belts and a scarf and stuff. so i spent about £80-£100

lol! i agree bout how crap it is but then agen this is from 2002 an its 2008 now an their collection has become way beter..i dnt shop anywhere else!

V true, fashion changes i guess, but I am finding River Island a bit expensive recently. every pair of Jeans r like £40 so I just cruise on down 2 Topman :)
