hey good job! And do you think this guitar is good for punk like blink 182 stuff. Also, is the guitar pretty heavy too becasue heard they were. Thanks../
@tlohrmann13 You got it totally backwards man. IMO, Schecetr kicks ass! My video "Headrush" gives you a pretty good idea of the sound. Schecter makes great guitars, don't overlook them.

i guess that would be good...really you just have to see which tone you like the best, the possibilities are really endless with humbuckers...like i said these are seymour duncans but i also like the standard humbuckers in the les paul
i play alot of slash, metalica, ac/dc, braking benjamin, and pretty much almost all kinds of rock, but those are what play the most, so should i go wih them?
Ehh, no. Alnico II's are very vintage output humbuckers and really wouldn't have much on the harder types of rock. I use a SH-4 JB in the Bridge and a SH-1 '59 in the neck which is also very good for Slash-esque tone. You can nail almost every tone with this setup
the silverburst is an absolutely beautiful finish...this classic sounds really nice, but i have upgraded seymour duncan humbuckers in both the neck and bridge position. but so far the epiphones i've played with the standard humbuckers sound beautiful as well, so i'd say go for it
What is the difference between Epi Les Paul Classic and Standard?

do you think it is a good guitar for heavy metal music?
javiyamaha01 2 years ago
i'd say look at a schecter or ibanez instead
tlohrmann13 2 years ago
schecter is crap go with an Ibanez or Jackson. ESP maybe but only if you can afford the higher end models.
djkane29 2 years ago
schecter isn't crap but i definitely wouldn't pick them first...definitely ibanez before schecter
