  • Very cool but oddly lumpy for water..

  • @afroschlan

Thanks for the comment! unfortunately, is very poor quality of this simulation, it is also very old, was one of the first test I did with Real Flow :-)

  • Looks like the canalization blowed up again...

  • WAW AMAZING! Nice good job :D love it

  • looks like something big is coming in the beginning, but, then...

  • you need mutch higher fidelity for it to look good, atho the animation is good

  • @15Protech

Thank, but this animation is very little test :-)

  • This work was done by me in 2008 to test the plug-in interconnection between Lightwave and Real Flow. The flooded road is a classic test to do, there are lots of animation like this.

You can see the forum section LWIta Real Flow, that work is done by me.

Also long ago I had another account on Youtube and then was also present them the video.

If you've seen in another channel show me that channel.

If true it is because they entered without my permission

    Informed before speaking.

  • @barineter That comment was slightly uncalled for. It does not aid you to call the creator a "noob".

  • @Waywardson256

    You really are right.

When I read comments like that useless, the rest really surprised by people. I delete the useless comment, but I leave it to see what nonsense he wrote.

At least, if you really must do this, first well documented :)

  • @barineter stfu u fuckin looser

  • this is godly

  • It's very hard to make hyper-realsitc water sims. The camera view are super important in my opinion.

  • can you make a tutorial or to teach on skype or other chat software

  • Hi friend,

I'm sorry but I have skype, usually use MSN.

But (unfortunately) my knowledge of English is really poor for a good tutorial lol :D

What would you do? but I try a good translation :)

  • hi

    do you have skype

i want that efffect but i dont know how to use lightwave

  • what software did you use

with 3ds max for real flow and after effects for tracking or lightwave

  • Hi,

yes, I used Lightwave for rendering, and After Effects for editing;)

  • very nice work.... but video compression is destroying footage!

  • Very cool

  • Thank you friend :)

  • lol at first like "OMG flood" then it all puddles. "false alarm"

  • lol hahaha! XD

  • SHould be more water... more like a flood :D

  • YESSS

  • thank you oOBunnyackOo :-)

For this video render time is very small, particles resolution (and number of particles) is low.? (output 320x240)

10 second for frame, with FPrime 3.1

I have another video "Real Flow alley", (looks up in top) and in this, 30/35 second for frame.

But I used more particles and resolution.

  • woa looks awesome

  • thank you for your comment!

But the quality of youtube is very bad.

I have another similar video, but the compression of youtube has killed the video quality :)

  • How do you do this? I don't even know how to preview or render anything.

  • Hello I used real flow and Lightwave, you use this program?

  • could you run the sim again with ten times more paricles?

  • Yes, in this holidays, possible new version of this work, with more detail :)

  • what kind of card are you using for your render times to be so short?.. I'm rendering a 700 frame scene of fluid filling a wine glass right now and it's already taken me 24 hours and counting.. using an Nvidia quadro fx 570

  • Hi doctdeezy,

For this render I used FPrime (render engine for Lightwave), and... yes very, very fast engine.

But... this animation is very small, 320x240, 120 frame :)

    bye bye

    Adry

  • graphics card has nothing to do with rendering, its all processor power/ram

  • Run or drown so many choices I say run !

  • hehe :-)

  • how much time it took to simulate

  • simulate in small time, (resolution of fluid very low, and other parameter low)

10 min for simulation, and 10/15 for render.

  • muy bueno,, good

  • gracias al comentar alex3dmartin :)

    Thank for you comment.

  • thank you alex3dmartin :)

  • great work but animation is very short. camera is very "cinematic" thats cool :)

  • Thank you, was in reality only a small test for interconnection plug-in :)

Now I'm realizing a better version, and long 10 or 15 second.

  • As I said to

Fedest3dcreative not import the resolution or other parameter for nice look.

It was a test dedicated to a post in a forum.

The movie was only dedicated interconnection between Lightwave and the plug-in Real Flow. ;-)

  • Come ho già detto a

Fedest3dcreative, non m'importava ne la risoluzione ne altro.

Era un test dedicato ad un post in un forum.

Il filmato era solo dedicato all'interconnessione fra Lightwave e la plug-in di Real Flow.
