@flybywre i know its an old post but you spent 32g's on your car for only 400hp lol. i bought a 01 lexus is300 for 6g's pulled the motor rebuilt it for 3500.00 with forged internals that includes the machine shop work. rebuilt the tranny for 180.00 buddy is a tranny specialist. bought an ebay turbo kit for 1g sent turbo out to be built with garrett internals for 250.00. and can go to 700hp on pump gas. i pass v8's all the time like nothing. and get better gas milage.
@flybywre Actually you're wrong. A good turbo kit for a 2.0 civi is about 4k WITH I C E. She will put out around 250 hp on that frame it could keep up with you no problem. Its not about HP man its all Power to weight ratio.

learn to read buddy, i bought the car with that shitty eclipse spoiler AND I REMOVED IT. this videos like a year or 2 old and since then my fd's been put in a shop while they swap in an LS2 v8 from a pontiac GTO. Plus im sure it'd beat the living shit out of whatever little POS car you have.
haha i'd like to hear you say that after you drive the torque-less monster and have it blow up 3,000 miles from when you buy it. the ls2 is waaaaay more reliable than the 13b(rotary) but i do still have love for the rotary engine. but yeah, the ls2 makes 400 RELIABLE horsepower while the 13b twin turbo struggles to live for 100k miles with only 255hp. plus the v8 doesnt mess with the 50/50 weight distribution of the rx7

@Mooseboy240 no i didnt build. i wish i knew how to do that. i had an 05 GTO for a while but got rid of it. i fault the big engine companies too for just putting the same corvette engine in all there sports coupes. Look europe produces some fine, and i mean fine vehicles. i have never drivin anything that handles like a BMW. i just prefer v8s because they make there power alot easier and at low RPMs (for the most part). just seems like u have to put alot into a 4 banger to get same results.

To each his own. these r some remarkable cars but there is nothing like the sound and feel of a naturaly asparatied V8 engine. my 05 gto had 400 hp and it was only 32,000 dollars. u have to spend a fortune on a ricer just to get it anywhere near that level. and it still wont set car alarms off when driving through parking lots. once again, im not a hater. ricers r fast cars if built right. good vid

@flybywre i know its an old post but you spent 32g's on your car for only 400hp lol. i bought a 01 lexus is300 for 6g's pulled the motor rebuilt it for 3500.00 with forged internals that includes the machine shop work. rebuilt the tranny for 180.00 buddy is a tranny specialist. bought an ebay turbo kit for 1g sent turbo out to be built with garrett internals for 250.00. and can go to 700hp on pump gas. i pass v8's all the time like nothing. and get better gas milage.

i guess you dont understand what a ricer is if your claiming Bozoku cars as Rice. thats an entirely different type of modding thats unique to Japan. it has a cult following and Bozoku meets with hundreds of cars done up like that. haha i'd like to hear you say that after you drive the torque-less monster and have it blow up 3,000 miles from when you buy it. the ls2 is waaaaay more reliable than the 13b(rotary) but i do still have love for the rotary engine. but yeah, the ls2 makes 400 RELIABLE horsepower while the 13b twin turbo struggles to live for 100k miles with only 255hp. plus the v8 doesnt mess with the 50/50 weight distribution of the rx7

However, I don't think American cars or engines are reliable for $#!T. Otherwise I would have just bought an American car. I get it though, sometimes the thought of your rotary engine warping and having to toss it sounds scary. Or having to get your hands a lil dirty replacing Apex seals sounds scary.... It's just not for everyone.

I like all kinds of cars, they can all be done right and the definition of a riced out car is simple, if it makes you sick to your stomach or eyes sore, then it is one.
For me, I drive a 4 cylinder econo car and I don't plan to do much to the exterior, call me nuts but I like the stock look a lot on a lot of cars.
Performance comes first in my opinion in modding cars.
