@pebble37lifter playing guitar often can wear down your nails, especially with lively strumming techniques like this, I know a couple of guitarists who have to wear false nails when playing because theirs get so worn. John Butler is a good example of a famous person who does this. With him specifically I can't really say though.

the sheer amount of talent, dedication, ingenuity, & indefinable magic that Cruz possesses can't be articulated in words. Not to mention his work ethic is more like a machine than a man. How he finds the time & energy to perform after writing & perfecting these arrangments is astounding. An artist in the truest sense of the word. He will be one of the pioneers our children reference the same way we refer to the nameless musicians that inspired A.King & chuck berry. A master, not an entertainer
