I think I'm the only one who GOES to LSU, and is worried by the fact that our players are obviously given everything they need to excel in school, and half of them are dumb as posts. I'm envious of the fact that I'm lacking these bonuses, though I work full time, go to school full time, and generally spend about the same amount of time as they do doing other things than school work as I do..

@33xxwrestler I attended every home game, and what I saw was the QB getting sacked time and again, or the QB not having enough time to complete passes to the intended receiver because linemen like Hitt could hold off the Defence. LSU gave up 2.85 sacks per game in 2009. In giving up sacks, LSU ranked 105th in the nation and last in the SEC for last season. Lyle Hitt's job was to defend the QB and he failed miserably at it. Looks like it was you who never watch an LSU game.
LSU spends more on football, on an average, than they do on professor's salaries..if you don't believe me, ask an English professor or an art history professor. Let me re phrase....There is money to be made....but, football is a game. ... the athletic foundation MAKES money for the university. we are better off with them. it's to our advantage to invest in good players and coaches. they make enough to pay for their salaries/scholarships/facilities plus more. without the football program, we wouldn't have as much to pay these art and english professors.

Of course you aren't you don't have to replace arguably the greatest CFB player of all-time. And yes Auburn kept you in it w/ a lot of untimely mistakes, missed fgs, penalties, and fumbles, it could've and should've gotten much uglier.
Look at the stats they're not even close Auburn MORE THAN DOUBLED your total yardage and OUTRUSHED LSU 440 rush yds compared to115 yds, LSU did nothing to stay in that game. Your defense which was supposed to be good looked like shit.
