  • This is HILARIOUS!!! But seriously... There are some great houses in Van Nuys too... Try CHISHOLM ESTATES!! My house is 22,500 feet on a 13,750 sq ft lot, We have 2 fireplaces and a 35,000 gallon pool... Its just where you go. A few blocks away might be scum. Its a melting pot..... If you keep up the property, so do the neighbors, So if you wanna live here just look around!

  • I am an all cash Investor. I am currently Buying In the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County, If you come across any single family residence in these areas please contact me, as I am able to close very fast as well as get you a fast response on any deal you bring me in these areas. I can have somone at the house within 1-2 hours if necessary, and can also make deposit within 24-48 hours easy. I am able to buy 15-20 a month. Thank you.

  • whats a stuckle??

  • instantword is correct. I live in Lake Balboa. I've lived in the Valley since 1988. Its turned into a third world dump, over run with illegal aliens. Illegal aliens have no respect for property. The graffiti is ridiculous. All due to L.A. City Council and the Mayor. We have a sanctuary city for illegal aliens and gang members.

  • I am not sure about this particular area but much of the SFV is pretty much worthless due to clandestine subterranean lab facilities applying synthetic telepathy/neuro-impulse weapons technology. These scientists can invisably invade your home and your family and cause many sorts of diseases and dysfuntions and there's nothing you can do about. They do it to create a pit obedient elite.

  • That house is San Antonio, where I live, would fetch maybe $80,000 tops. Probably $70 grand in today's market. And it would be considered a very average property. The upside is that S.A. is a much nicer city with not a tenth of the issues that plague Los Angeles. I know. I live in both. L.A. has lots to do and the weather is great. The tradeoff is you live around some of nastiess lowlifes on Earth in a city and a state that is in a nosedive of a decline.

  • LOL! I'll give you 75,000.00 for it.

  • Van Nuys is like most of the San Fernando Valley, it's a toilet. Most of Los Angeles including the Valley is a toilet. It's Tia Juana in the making. Oh ya, that's racist to say that. But it's the truth. If you want to live with a Mexican/Gang ambiance go right ahead and move into the Valley. You're sure to find an illegal to do your yard and make your bed. But you better love the trash, graffiti and gangs that come with it. Thank the mayor, remember he was the president of MEChA.

  • GARBAGE....not to mention...ALL THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE THE WORST IN THE NATION

  • van nuys is awesome!!!

yea maybe it isnt the best place to live but its way better than places in downtown la or la in general...

ive had lots of fun in my neighborhood and met lots of nice people....

i have friends that live in la and come to school here because it suks in la... SAN FER all the way!!

  • van nuys sucks, im glad i just left for college. graffiti everywhere, people trash everything, no respect for personal property, and noisy. I feel bad for my parents who still are there. Even though they change the name of the part i live in to lake balboa this year, it still sucks and it still is van nuys. Dont buy a home in van nuys, go to northridge or winnetka, or encino, just not van nuys.

  • at what age did you start and how did u get ur beginning loan or source of money im 20 about to be 21 young and ready to make money but have no clue where my source of money will come from? any help?

  • who wouldn't want to live in the porn capital of the usa hahahahahaah

  • I live in Van Nuys and it is a mix bag. I am buying a house next to my parents in Van Nuys. I did not want to go far with my new family. excited! go Van Nuys!

  • hey if u got a home for 100,000 to 250,000 tell me i will buy it. . in van nuys area please . thank you

  • wtf...van nuys isnt one of the best cities to live in..especially on the vanowen area...van nuys isnt all that ghetto though..it has many pockets full of nice homes..such as in the victory area of van nuys merging toward lake balboa....i used 2 live in van nuys and it SUCKED...i now live in encino..now that's a real city.

  • So happy to be out of Van Nuys.

  • Van Nuys is not a desirable area of the San Fernando Valley. The only really desirable areas are Encino, Sherman Oaks, and Studio City. Calabasas and Hidden Hills are also nice areas just to the west of the valley. Nicest suburb of Los Angeles is definitely San Marino or La Canada Flintridge.

  • I am sure if KonaKevin moved into my neighborhood, my 4800 square foot house would only be worth 100k. I am sure konakevin's patriotism is displayed all over that 2 acre lot with once- made-in-America Maytag wash machines. How cowardly to deride someone working hard to earn an honest living!! Its is the small entrepreneur like John and many others that will bring America back to it's former financial glory. Very ignorant about location, economics and just general respect, konakevin.

  • Some people have a hard time understanding the market--especially pricing when it comes to location and region. Keep up the good work John. I respect you for the hard work and coomitment you put into your work. It is the individual entrpreneur like John who pounds the pavement ardently working for the average American citizen that will keep this country afloat. He is here to represent you and your interests personally. It is your satisfaction that he depends upon for his survival.

  • Thanks for your kind words Chrisperdicara, you are awesome:)

  • van nuys is murder cap of us this year wtf is he talking about i live here and i wana get out so people dot get exsited over the house

  • California prices are still out of line. The freeways are falling apart, the infrastructure is old, and still they try to sell places like this. OMG, you have to go outside to get to the washers. I wouldn't raise my dog in a place like that, much less family

  • im in england and just watched this and when he said the kitchen was big i thought you glasses better than the ones i have a wide view wot wide view nice house wrong price

  • Vote Walter Moore for Mayor of L.A. on March 3rd, 2009.

Vote David Berger for City Attorney of L.A. on March 3rd, 2009.

Vote Kathleen Suzy Evans for City Controller of L.A. on March 3rd, 2009.

  • cool, can you do more tours like this?

  • Hi John,

I just wanted to say keep up the good work... Take a look at mine and let me know what you think on it... :)

  • interesting how a house built in the 30's is considered old in the USA

  • Thanks, great representation. I wish all realtors go the extra mile to sell the houses, like you just did.

  • Anyone who spends 360K on that 700 sq foot bandbox is a fool. ESPECIALLY in today's crashing market, which ain't even close to the bottom yet. Wait another year or two and you'll be able to get much better Van Nuys properties for a LOT cheaper than that.

  • $360,000 for 736 SQUARE FEET???!!! WTF!? My last single bedroom apartment had more square feet than that. You certainly can't raise a family in that small of a home. I think California real estate has AT LEAST another 50% correction coming. Do you realize what you can get for $360k in Texas? How about 3000 sq ft on a 2 acre wooded lot with a pool. It's time to load up the truck and move AWAY from Beverly!

  • lol You are so right KonaKevin777! You can get so much more for your money in The Great State of Texas:)

  • wow, i went to van nuys high, didn't think Paula Abdul lived in this area, i feel good now lol

  • Im not sure which is funnier your new Paula Abdul video or you sat in the bath at the end of the video, lol.

  • lol Thanks TopCat4Eva! Your support for my channel is awesome:)

  • How much value does a big yard add to a house???

  • It depends AntiReflective, but in this area people expect it. Homes on large lots sell quicker.

  • am going to be honest john... if u would of showed me the hallway closet... i would of put a offer on that house LOL nevermind!

    keep it up :) 5*****

  • lol thanks IamNOTaFISH118:)

  • Nice house - wish it was mine! Let me know if you hear about a good deal in the inland empire!

  • There are presently lots of good deals in the I.E. Jdoty7878:)
