Massage girls are common in poker rooms. Also getting your chips in pre-flop in a tournament as deepstacked as the world series is a bad idea, especially with AKo.
@DanSaw120285 LoL how can u put trust in a peice of software where they make money from the rakes my freind works in a casino he says its like everyone is a customer they like u to buy in but they dont like it when u cash out. Online Poker is a scam and the only way people win lots of money online is by taking advantage of that
That explains why there are numerous of individuals worldwide that have made a lot of money playing online. I am not just talking about famous professionals. Lets use Tom Dwan for example. He has made millions online. Did the system randomly select Tom to win all the time or perhaps he is talented?
@DanSaw120285 Isildur1 and Dwan are probably the best online poker stars and yes they have talent but poker online is a completely different game than live play because it creates Action Flops to increase betting. Try play poker with ur self see how many hands u make then put on 10 dollars and see how many hands u make say 30 times each and u will and anyone wud be able to tell the difference. Poker in Real life is BORING how can u trust a system built on greed
@DanSaw120285 even poker players have said its rigged like people who have won the world series of poker, there is no physical prove but then why would there be at t he end of the day money makes the world go round.

You dont like his attitude? Well see how your attitude would be if you were playing 100k pots. Ivey may be different away from the table, look at Phil Hellmuth, do you think he acts like that all the time? Of course not, only at the table. You do not know Ivey personally to judge his attitude.
@ashleycolemobilefone lol? yea? what's wrong with using Omniverse as a youtube tag name? You're using "ashleycolemobilefone" as one, lol. fone.

While there are very unintelligent people in the world, i'll always know my weekly withdrawals from Stars will be safe in the future - Bless you dumb people, and thank you for paying for this expensive bottle of red im drinking right now.
@haroonKS dont always have to hit with AK tho, which is what makes it so powerful. u get so many people who over play AQ AJ KQ and even KJ that its dominating lots of hands which donks are going to play strong. thats why its so powerful
wow go back to bingo idiot because you clearly have no clue about poker. Ivey hesitated because he rather not put nearly all his chips on the line at the freakin WSOP MAIN EVENT on a 3/1 draw at best.
@thisfuckinsucks1 There's always that moment, though, where they go all-in, and you're sitting with the SECOND best starting hand, and you think to yourself "Can't fold, here we go"
@TheFinalCollision I think ivey just was thinking of the possibility the guy had pocket aces but theres no way hed fold there I probably wouldnt either.
@MrDedorah lol no thats poker im afraid, it does happen quads are extremley hard to fold, even the best in the world would more then likely loose like that.
both played the hand right. AK you have a coin flip or better against any hand other than K's or A's..
when you get re-raised 20k you'd be happy to just take the 20k if he folded and happy for him to call with lower pockets or AQ/KQ sort of range. It wasn't really an overbet at all.

lol look at the masseuse. She is working on ivey's back during ivey is thinking, she freezes when the dealer opens the cards, and after the river card she starts again!
@TheSkaterr100 So what would you do? Just call to c/f any flop that doesn't have an w/o A or K? And even if you do flop an A or K which will only happen 1/3 of the time you will very often be beat if all the money goes in after the flop. Ivey definitely isn't stacking off with QQ on a K82 rainbow board. Calling is awful, folding is meh. shoving is a decent play since against a range of QQ+ AK has about 30% chance to suck out for the win and Ivey will have a good number of bluffs that will fold.
@tintiringa IMO it was a horrific play by the guy with ACE KING this early in a tournament. Late on when the blinds are high is a different matter. It was a Marginal play by Phil at best this early.
Everyone seems to be a poker pro on youtube.. Lol the comments that make me laugh the most is, when youtubers tell somone in the video if they played the hand bad or good.. Do you guys not realize your baising your descsion off of just watching a single hand? when the people making the descsion have about 6 other factors to determine the best outcome? You simply can rareley judge if someone made a good or bad play just by watching the hand play out from youtube.. Too many unkowns for us to judge
Allright bro... I can spare 20$ my FTP username is picoruska3343 =]
And yep
I found out on the Full Tilt Poker blog recently you make a account on their website using the bonus code SPECIALS 1 thing though you cannot allready have an account on their site.I think it's the recommended way if you're a beginner to start playing.. Your first deposit will be DOUBLED plus a couple other beneficial perks. Sadly limited to the first 4500 people that sign up using it
Even with kings, would some poker tourney players not fold in this situation? Even though you dominate against AK or AQ, it may not be worth it to risk busting out so early in a tournament.
@thedudeabides97 Exactly, early on I would only Raise all in with Kings and not call an all in. The only hand I would call an all in with is Aces. Ace King is not even a consideration. Later on the game changes when the blinds rise.
@Flopsy62 No I wouldn't in the first level of a big deep stack tournament. I would raise all in but not call. There is a LOT more poker to be played so blowing off all your chips on an all in early is stupid.
@ojideagu No no no. Laying down Kings preflop is a terrible play. Please find me a pro who would tell you to lay kings down preflop ever (save a satellite tournament or perhaps right before the bubble, if your bankroll is light.) And by the way your logic is awwwwful!! "I would raise all in but not call it." What??
@ilovebrandnewcarpets No my logic is very sound. Raising gives you TWO ways to win. You have fold equity or the best hand. Calling only gives you ONE way to win, having the best hand.
This is the first damn level of a big tournament, why the hell would you put your entire tournament on
the line with a coin flip in the first level? There is hours and hours of poker left.
In a cash game you never fold Kings.
IF this was late on in the tournament with high blinds THEN it's worth calling all in.
@ilovebrandnewcarpets If you played Double or nothing SNG's you'd also have to totally rethink your "Never fold Kings" attitude. That blanket statement does not work.
Even in very very deep cash games you might have to consider not calling all in with Kings.
Would you call with Kings pre-flop, when you have 500 times the big blind in a deep stack cash game?
@ojideagu hmm. You're assuming that the other person has aces every time. I stand by my statement. Ask any pro if they would lay down, they will tell you no. I know from reading one of his blogs a year or so that Negreanu has laid down kings preflop twice in his life. Once he THINKS he was right, and once the guy flipped over queens. Double or nothing SNGs?? Are those the- start with 10, end with 5 tourneys? I've actually never played, BUT i would concede that you may be right in that
@ojideagu (continued) situation, but i said that when i mentioned satellite tournaments. And if my understanding of "double or 0" SNG's is correct, then they ARE satellite tournaments. As far as a very deep cash game. Think about it. Let's say were playing 5/10$ blinds. 500 bbs is 5k. I'm not getting my 5k in pre, even with Aces. At some point I'm just calling to get value. If I rererereraise someone then he's going figure out at some point that his Jacks (or whatever) are no good.
I actually think he said "I wanted to smoke" hahaha.

it's just AK its not that big of a hand he should'nt have moved all in
TheSkaterr100 1 year ago
@TheSkaterr100 So what would you do? Just call to c/f any flop that doesn't have an w/o A or K? And even if you do flop an A or K which will only happen 1/3 of the time you will very often be beat if all the money goes in after the flop. Ivey definitely isn't stacking off with QQ on a K82 rainbow board. Calling is awful, folding is meh. shoving is a decent play since against a range of QQ+ AK has about 30% chance to suck out for the win and Ivey will have a good number of bluffs that will fold.

who is that sexy little creature near Ivey? I want to get to know her.

WTF? You can rent girls to give you a massage at the table? Nice play by phil, he even got a happy ending.
tintiringa 1 year ago

Your first deposit will be DOUBLED plus a couple other beneficial perks. Sadly limited to the first 4500 people that sign up using it

Even with kings, would some poker tourney players not fold in this situation? Even though you dominate against AK or AQ, it may not be worth it to risk busting out so early in a tournament.
thedudeabides97 1 year ago
@thedudeabides97 Exactly, early on I would only Raise all in with Kings and not call an all in. The only hand I would call an all in with is Aces. Ace King is not even a consideration. Later on the game changes when the blinds rise.
ojideagu 1 year ago
@ojideagu are u leveling? u wouldnt call a shove with kings? lolol
Flopsy62 1 year ago
@Flopsy62 No I wouldn't in the first level of a big deep stack tournament. I would raise all in but not call. There is a LOT more poker to be played so blowing off all your chips on an all in early is stupid.

Flopsy62 1 year ago
@ojideagu No no no. Laying down Kings preflop is a terrible play. Please find me a pro who would tell you to lay kings down preflop ever (save a satellite tournament or perhaps right before the bubble, if your bankroll is light.) And by the way your logic is awwwwful!! "I would raise all in but not call it." What??
ilovebrandnewcarpets 11 months ago
@ilovebrandnewcarpets No my logic is very sound. Raising gives you TWO ways to win. You have fold equity or the best hand. Calling only gives you ONE way to win, having the best hand.
This is the first damn level of a big tournament, why the hell would you put your entire tournament on
the line with a coin flip in the first level? There is hours and hours of poker left.
In a cash game you never fold Kings.
IF this was late on in the tournament with high blinds THEN it's worth calling all in.
ojideagu 11 months ago
@ilovebrandnewcarpets If you played Double or nothing SNG's you'd also have to totally rethink your "Never fold Kings" attitude. That blanket statement does not work.
Even in very very deep cash games you might have to consider not calling all in with Kings.
Would you call with Kings pre-flop, when you have 500 times the big blind in a deep stack cash game?
Hell no. There are far better spots.
ojideagu 11 months ago
@ojideagu hmm. You're assuming that the other person has aces every time. I stand by my statement. Ask any pro if they would lay down, they will tell you no. I know from reading one of his blogs a year or so that Negreanu has laid down kings preflop twice in his life. Once he THINKS he was right, and once the guy flipped over queens. Double or nothing SNGs?? Are those the- start with 10, end with 5 tourneys? I've actually never played, BUT i would concede that you may be right in that
ilovebrandnewcarpets 11 months ago
@ojideagu (continued) situation, but i said that when i mentioned satellite tournaments. And if my understanding of "double or 0" SNG's is correct, then they ARE satellite tournaments. As far as a very deep cash game. Think about it. Let's say were playing 5/10$ blinds. 500 bbs is 5k. I'm not getting my 5k in pre, even with Aces. At some point I'm just calling to get value. If I rererereraise someone then he's going figure out at some point that his Jacks (or whatever) are no good.
ilovebrandnewcarpets 11 months ago
He didn't know how to play ace king against ivey.
