@PlatinumBlonde87 For the JLU episodes, Galatea is a clone of Supergirl created by Prof. Emil Hamilton. She was created as a result of when Superman was captured, and brainwashed by Darkseid.

Powergirl (in the comic books) is an Earth 2 version of Supergirl, and the cousin of Earth 2's Superman. Although Galatea is similar to Powergirl, Galatea was made to be a villian.

Galatea's appearance was based on Power Girl, a Silver Age version of Supergirl who pops up in the comics from time to time. She's more cynical & seemingly less " pure " than the 1990's Supergirl.

Yeah. There's been some nifty character development since the whole issue of her past has been resolved. I like her better then the current Supergirl since she's actually responsible- she didn't abandon Kandor to Saturn Queen and Ultraman like Supergirl did. In the JSA Annual she actually went to the current version of Earth-2 (which wasn't her's but similar) and slugged it out with her counterpart there.

Its not Powergirl ,even if she looks very simular to powergirl her name is Galatea a clone of Supergirl (animated series Supergirl) Kara In-Zee. Powergirl´s Name is Kara Zor-L and the universes they both belong are different ,you should take a look on your languages wikipedia its a littel bit hard to explain the different comic worlds that DC created. Just say there are more then one universes and there are a lot of Supergirls out there ^^.
