Worst mix I've heard. No DRUMS. Little bass....some weird slapback delay....keys forget it.

.Figures, they do a nice video but the video people know little about sound.

sound's not up to par with this great song, arangement needs fine tuning, the drums are lagging, c'mon, this should friggin JUMP, lol, great song, great artist, he should be playing STADIUMS

It's all in the mix. Rick should have more effect on his trumpet. More delay and reverb. Also for the sax too. This is always been a pet peeve for me with sound techs, all over the USA. They don't quite get it for horn players most of the times. We should be more like guitists by carrying our own effects rack. this would solve the problem.

I heard this song at Berks Jazz Fest 3/09the first time Rick ever played it live; and again on 12/09/09 at the Community Theater in Morristown, NJ. The acoustics at the NJ venue are practically second to none and the piece was AWSOME! The sound from the video doesn't come close to the real live sound especially on the computer speakers. I've seen Rick play over 15 times in the last 10 years... you have to see him live (and hear Tijuana Dance?) and at his best... John

A sound tech in Dayton, Ohio told me when he ran sound for Chris Botti. Chris told him to turn up the effect on his horn. And again if he thought it was enough. And again if he still thought it was enough. and again after that. And then again. It's very important to get the sound you need for yourself

It's a good performance. but the echo doesn't let you hear that.

I like NATE PHILLIPS he's a great bass player. definitely one of the best out there he knows how to stay out of the way.

In my car playing Tijuana Dance and I must of played it 5 to 8 times non-stop! What an addiction!!!! ( I blasted it loud)

I stopped to buy some merlot & headed to my sister's so that i could share the CD with her, which we love ....

"Christiane" wow another classic!

When U played "Emma's Song" that night I was flooded with tears, I cried so much ....... i have so many beautiful memories with that song. I want to THANK YOU Rick & Christiane for all the efforts to make it happen 4 us

I have to say how happy i am to have been there that night.

My story,

i hurried to Boarders to buy my CD of Rick Braun, got to the Jazz section and could not find the new CD, I was getting very disappointed and thought will i have time to make it to Berkeley Rasputin .......

Finally the sales person came whom is always helpful and said did you try the section where we have all the new releases? Duh, i felt like Dorothy fr Wiszard of Oz he geared me right into "All It Takes"
