  • love how you said - no problem! :) that's the best way!

    cheers,

    jake

  • I have just finished watching the last pie safe video. It has taken several days

to do it by watching one or two a night. Also have watched several of your other

    videos.

I really like your teaching style, a lot, and am anxious to watch your remaining

    videos.

I am not a carpenter but find your teaching helpful, interesting , and am learning

a lot . I will probably never build a pie safe but the information in these videos is invaluable. Thanks a lot. :)

  • to bkedp:

These "webisodes" are dead easy to put on DVD yourself. I have a MAC and I have put them on DVD for personal use because I was constantly referring back to them for the hints and instruction. Charles is a SUPERB cabinetmaker and has so much to offer. But I digress...... If you have a MAC then you can import the Youtube videos right into iDVD and burn them, it will take a few DVD's as each one will hold 4 "webisodes" in the HD format. Very easy to do yourself. Hope this helped.

  • @fdxdsm They probably have a PC, and, well, it's given the BSOD again, followed by it being lobbed out the window. Don't ask me how I know, as Charles would say... Signed, devout Ubuntu'er

    Just kidding bkedp.

  • I too am enjoying your videos. I'm far from holding the title of "Cabinet Maker" but I've done more than most average person. That said, I've learnt a great deal from just your pie safe series alone, and grateful for you sharing your undeniable expertise!

One question though (for now) did you hypnotize Crystal (hope that's the right spelling) for this "on camera" segment? Last time, you nearly had to pull her into the shot... kicking and screaming! lol ;)

  • @4micaman ha ha no she actually is on camera with me alot , she is a good sport about it

  • @InTheWorkshop haha - Roger that!

Looking forward to see how you guys do the distressing on her pie safe.

Makes mental note; Create an urgency to acquire a digi-cam and start sharing tips on installing HPL.

  • i'll say it again you are one of the best teachers that i have seen and you make excellent vids thank you very much for your effort and time!!

  • Excellent videos...I am learning something all the time.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for the countless hours of time you have spent on this . I've enjoyed every video and count it a very unique experience to learn the right way woodworrking should done right.

  • Solid wood! Dig it -real furniture makers.

  • keep the videos coming charles, they're great!

  • Will these webisodes be made into a DVD?

  • @bkedp haden't thought about it , do you want me to ? :) the girls like making DVD's and selling them,. but I wanted this to be free, but if there is enough interest then we will see ,,,

  • @InTheWorkshop DVD's would be cool, but I like FREE too. so please and thank you, keep up the great work, Regards, Bob

  • Keep them coming! I have learned a lot watching your videos.

  • Charles, you time and effort are greatly appreciated. The little tips are a great way to learn a lot without all the errors. Also shows you that you should think ahead a couple steps. I can't tell you how many times I thought "Wow, I would not have thought about that."

  • Same here! I am learning a bunch and a gobb! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!

  • Yes, I am enjoying this, and YES, I am learning something.

    Thank You!
