hey man, awesome look with the lens. I am about to get one myself, but i was wondering if there is a way to avoid the black fuzz at the corners that i see on a lot of 35mm adapter videos. Do you know of any techniques or is it a matter of cropping it?
how does the focusing screen determine dof? I'm building one myself. I don't have a focusing screen yet so I'm usuing wax paper, (which worksish) but i'm not getting the DOF I want with a canon 50mm 1.8. Are Nikon lenses better?
how much was the adapter? Was it worth the money you paid for it? What were the pluses and the minuses of this adapter? Thinking about buying. Interested and appreciate any insights you might have. THanks
its homemade... so i made it myself.. plus and minus? plus : you'll get cinematic look with 35mm style frame, minus : the pic will be upside down and mirroring, and manual focus only
I think for my next camera I am going to buy a HDV cam just because the quality is outstanding and it doesn't convert down on the internet...The avchd digital is okay but hdv I think is the way to go.....HDV, Flash/Stick Memory, Or HDD High Definition Cams What are the best available for these?
yes, upsight down so..i'm shooting with a little imagination upside down he he he.. but there's a couple trick to make it normal on lcd, with mirror, prism or hacking the electronical component (there a lot information on google)...you can flip the image easily on post then...or buy an expensive p+s teknik adapter with flip module built in..but its verryyyy expensive.. i'm trying to make it my own..i'll post the result then...wish me luck
thanks, i'm using canon ee-s for focusing screen, but i'm not very satisfied with this type.. the dof is too shallow, hard for me to focus, and the focus object is not as sharp as i expected, i'm planing to change it with ee-a type...more brighter, more sharper but the dof is not as shallow as ee-s type...
not backwards.. but mirroring upside down and left to right, thats because from the lens the image always projected upside down, and the camera capture the image from the back of screen, so it will mirroring left to right too..
kompresinya emang payah bgt.. blm tau formula terbaik u/ di upload di youtube..tp coba clik "watch in high quality' deh... lebih lumayan walau masih blm sebagus aslinya... btw td gw udah ambil2 gambar lain..ntar gw post lagi deh u/ perbandingan
waw keren 35mm dof nya, kira2 menghabiskan biaya berapa??? kebetulan saya juga kepingin buat...thx

agentraj101 2 years ago
i use canon ee-s focusing screen, its around EUR30
upiedesign 2 years ago
for the camera, do you need manual focus?
please respond.
agentraj101 2 years ago
for the camera, yes, you have to manual focus to keep the stabilize the focus to ´focusing screen´´

Very nice results. Check my adapter video!

thanks, yeah thats call bokeh, some people like it, some people not..
the easiest way is to zoom the camera more to the groundlass until the black border is totally gone.

So, when you recorded this, it did look upside down? does that happen with this adapter? and if so, is there anyway to make it look straight?
cocheparedes 3 years ago
wow!, nice short and beautiful color.
what's material you use for focusing screen?
XiangProject 3 years ago
not backwards.. but mirroring upside down and left to right, thats because from the lens the image always projected upside down, and the camera capture the image from the back of screen, so it will mirroring left to right too..

i dont know much about adapters, but is it true that once you have it on, everything goes backwards throug the viewfinder?
