wow. i quit bowling at the end of 92 and didn't return till 7-8 yrs. later. resins came out in 93? figures. story of my life ;) did ozio kiss his bicep after he was done? duh. he's lucky he carried the first one in the 10th. when did aulby retire?

This is the exact moment I stopped watching the PBA. There were a couple of other high scoring matches that contributed, but this was the icing on the cake for me. Shoot 279 and lose? Riiiight.

And the steroid ball revolution was born! That L.E Hooked a mile and had one of the first monster blocks. That and the Omega permanently tainted a once great sport.

the $140,000 was just indicating how much prize money that was for the whole field..

However, Brunswick used to have an added bonus, that if you used a ball/shirt combo, you received $100,000..Aulby was wearing a Pink Rhino shirt, and used a Rhino Pro LE to shoot the 300...
