When I first saw the Icons I thought that Wells was creating a straw man argument easy for him to knock down. Then 2 semesters ago while taking a Biology 101 class the teacher used the pictures of Haekels embryos to justify common ancestry. It certainly enjoyed exposing him as a fraud in front of the class. Also makes you think that if these fraudulent drawings were exposed as a fraud then wouldnt the teacher who uses them be considered a fraud also?
