Actually PvE is constantly hindered because of PvP. Skills and abilities are warped and nerfed because they're too strong in PvP which can gimp characters in the PvE setting. e-Sports continues this by completely ruining everything about PvE forcing companies to watch balance of PvP only while ignoring what it does to someone who primarily PvEs.

real pvp died once the arena system was put in to play...the point of pvp originaly was for the open world slaying of other players. wow was concived to tell the story of the world following the end of warcraft 3...done and done...also to the hunter asking for hunter buffs...trueshot aura and aspect of the falcon ARE buffs /thread.

Long story short: Blizzard devs moved to titan project and there nolonger good enough to make the game anywhere near remotely balanced.

Simplest solution to allow maximum potential in both aspects of the game (PvP/PvE)

Make it so that values (damage, heals, etc) are modified to each spectrum, i.e. You'd hit a PvE enemy for x amount of damage, but it'd hit another player for y amount.

Done and done. Both fanbases are sated.

And I agree, they should be on seperate systems. RPGs are inherently PvE games, so I understand focusing on the bread and butter more, but it's a shame PvP had to rot, I queue up for a BG or an arena and there's like a 90% chance I'm doing content from 2007 or prior. It's sad.
