It's easier for kids to learn a second language because their minds are still developing. If adults want to learn another language, they have to be able to do so from memory. I can still learn other languages (only if they have enough relationship with English) because I have a long-term memory. I couldn't learn a language that hardly looked or looked nothing like English.
