If you drink whiskey and some classic whiskey drinks like manhattans or old fashionds you can substitute this flavor and have a fall/cold weather cocktail. Its easy and delicious.

I love whisky!! But I also love everything else. I like others have gone through my phases with alcohol from 'ice beer' to vodka. vodka to tequila. tequila to whiskey. I havae many years of drinking under my belt and creating cocktails has really changed the way I look at spirits in general. All of them have a porpose and a use in 'craft cocktails' and to be honest with you I use all of them in so many different ways. So I truly love everything.. Especially whiskey. LOL

@pouryourpoison Haha I get you man! I just started really getting around the block in the liquor market. I truly love me a bottle of Grey Goose though, still my all time favorite, dunno what you could do with that though!

You can do pretty much anything with vodka. Vodka is super easy to infuse with any fruits, veggies, herb and/or spice because it picks up the taste from whatever it comes into contact with. For instance.. You could add cherrys and cinnimon to a btl of vodka and make seasonal white or blak russians, cherry apple martinis, cherry chocolate martinis or Flavored cocktails with a basic mixer such as seltzer, sweet, tonic or whatever else you like 2 mix your drinks with.

@pouryourpoison What I usually drink with it is either vanilla coke or a tad bit of cream soda. From what it seems is that I like a little vanilla kick in my drink.

But yes this is definitely helping! I've been trying to get into understanding drink more and you're helping a ton.

So what's a black russian exactly? You mentioned a good way to make a white russian, but how different is it from white?
