I'm not saying that this woman doesn't deserve to be here, but I'm curious why it's AMERICAN Music Awards and she's British, right? And Britney Spears wasn't nominated? Doesn't perform? What is the criteria for this awrd show?

well mainly beacuse leona lewis is one of the best live performers in the world, she is a huge success and would jump at the chance to go to an award show where her idols were ie whitney.

britney wouldnt and tbh she thinks shes better than everyone...whethere she is britihs or not leona deserves to atleatst attend the show LOL

I looked up the wikipedia article about these award shows (AMAs, Grammy, etc.). It looks like Brit won in her 1st year as new artist, but that's about it as far as the AMAs are concerned.

One thing I can't understand is why that guy physically attacked her a couple of months ago.

And as far as Britney goes, I've just got sour grapes because although her voice isn't as good as others, I would like to see her more often - she is great eye candy!!! especially with that sexy circus outfit!!!
