I agree with you. I hate to be there when the ships come in. UGH !! All of the guys that have been on ships for months that finally get shore leave come to town and get wasted and trash the place out. They have no repsect whatsoever for the town or the people. Sadly it's always been like that. :(

The best American bars is chuckies....arcos.......and black cat.........if you go anywhere else the spanish will mean mug you and it kills your buzz because I dont think they want us in there!!!

Not much to do in Rota really BUT it's got the most beautiful beaches ever. It's close to alot of other cool towns. Once you go to Rota, IF they send you there, you'll never want to leave I pronise you that much. It's one magical place.
Rota is a small fishing village really with a population of about 26,000 people and since the beaches are some of the best in Europe it's also a summer resort town. Lots of Germans and Dutch in the summer and for the wintertime it's pretty dead. Either way Rota is a lively, fun town.
wow small world. we go there alot, not the greatest place for the younger crowd but the old salty dogs seem to like it, we tend to get wild at Nikki's just up the street.
