  • does anyone know how tall this horse is? or have a good guess? 15.2?

  • Deep Impact flew down the lane and won effortlessly here. Very impressive turn of foot.

Thanks for posting this important video.

  • Totally agree with you guys,i think also that Deep Impact beeing a closer his whole racing life, was compromised running to close to pace without the benefit of a prep race run under similar pace conditions,an also no offense but Take, sometimes makes pace-riding mistakes, well thank you for everything, the footage is exceptional, praise you from a muggy mexican city call Tijuana.

  • Brilliant!!!

    Thank you...

  • PS - I am curious if you could explain to me how Deep Impact's performance in France was regarded in Japan. Amongst all my horse racing following friends I was in fact the only one who was favoring this wonderful horse. In spite of me having backed Rail Link previously with excellent results, I felt Deep Impact would have a deep impact on proceedings at Longchamps. I believe that with a different rider, maybe a prep race, Deep Impact would have been triumphant...

  • A lot of people said they should have used a prep race, and some said they should have changed the rider into an European rider. Maybe the 59.5kg weight influenced on him. But people don't believe he completely lost, me either, I believe Yutaka saying he didn't run all his best. I'm sure nobody thinks Rail Link was stronger than Deep Impact. Again this year, two horses have a plan to go to the Arc, with prep races before this time. Of course neither is a pace maker. Both go toward a victory.

  • Neojappy San, thank you so much for continuing the Deep Impact project and following up on my humble request. It is simply wonderful to be able to see all this amazing footage and commentary. Am eagerly awaiting any future installments you might make. Many thanks from a Deep Impact fan presently a rainy Amsterdam.

  • This is a fantastic project! I have looked forward to this new installment for months, and my patience has been rewarded. Keep up the great work; I'll be proud to be the first to see your next piece and rate and comment!
