well, it is not really illegal, but it is unethical. it would be illegal if you killed the bird. but you may have been able to save the bird , instead of filming it, and then posting it. I work at a wildcare center rehabilitating birds, and soo many are cat caught birds. it is so sad, they are so beautiful close up. i think you would feel differently if you held an injured bird in your hands.

Careless car owners in my area have been responsible for a number of cat deaths recently due to the irresponsible storage of,

Ethylyne Glycol (automotive anti-freeze) which due to its sweet syrupy nature cats love. On ingestion it oxidises to Glycolic Acid, which in turn oxidises to form Oxalic Acid which is toxic and deadly to cats, even in small amounts and causes heart failure.

Be aware of this and take care when using Anti-Freeze this winter!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, he really is a good looking cat. He was an indoor cat for 3 years and lived every moment on a windowsill, looking outside and longing to be out there. I adopted him from an old gentleman that passed away, and he became an outdoor cat, much healthier and happier.

Even domesticated cats have that wild in in them, hunting is a part of all animals instinct. I got a nice sweet poodle but it sees a squirrel or rabbit, it's going to try to catch it, hunt it, then eat it. It's just a fact of life. Cats are more prone to hunt because they are outside more than dogs, not always, but yes, it's in their nature.
