  • Hippy!

  • at the end she owned up on the sitar she needs one of the electric ones and a huge amp

  • why would you watch this video if that is your opinion of sitar? this is a video intended to educate people a great deal smarter than you. go celebrate your ignorance elsewhere.

  • if she could do a video explainging aaroha and avroha thatd be good

  • basically aaroha is just the ascending notes in a raagam

    avroha is the descending notes.

so like if the aaroha is: sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa,

then the avroha is : sa ni dha pa ma ga re sa

  • mm i get that, its just that they can get quite complex so I dont understand how you know where u are on the raagam and if you can jump from one part to another. otherwise youre just going up and down the raagam all the time.

for example the avroha for bageshree is:

    S' - n - D - m - P - D - g, m - g - R - S

how do you know which D you are on or m or g

  • O.O :D OMG!!! Freud would have LOVED the shot at the end where the whole huge sitar was in the shot LMAO LMAO LMAO
