mwidzinski, my apologies for my errors!I was at the Blue Note on 1/19/2008 and it was McCoy,Joe Lovano,sax,Gerald Cannon,bass,and Eric Kamau Gravitt,drums,on stage.(I purchased a CD that same night titled"McCoy Tyner Quartet",that has McCoy,Joe Lovano,Christian McBride,&Jeff "Tain"Watts in it! Yeah I have the CD as well so I can see how you would think that. I got the names from the Blue Notes program, so I was pretty sure about it.

correction on the drummer- it was Jeff "Tain" Watts. (I was at the Blue Note that night!)

Yes, McCoy performed for 3 straight days at the Blue Note on West Third Street(Village),New York in January and Jeff "Tain" Watts was his drummer all 3 days.My seat was

5 feet away from the stage!Great show!

Hmm...it's strange that I don't recall the change in drummer. Do you know why he went with Tain rather than the guy who was listed in the program?

I showed the clip to Tain and he said that the drummer was NOT him, it's Eric G. Not to mention that McCoy says it's Eric 6 seconds in.
