  • Hey JC if you dial zero do you get the operator! JUST KIDDING. This is why I love my console stereo so much: fine furniture and fine sound... your HSC1 is simply awesome. Do these LP players track any differently - lighter - than the juke units? Just wondering. Because they have the whole different tonearm assembly and etc. and were designed for less abusive use (locations) than the jukes?

  • @75capriceconvertible Thanks.I had wanted one of these ever since I knew they existed and this one showed up in MD on craigslist a few years back. They use the same cartridge that the seeburg SS160 and up jukeboxes use and the reed switch end of record tripoff(no back pressure) They track at 2.5 grams same as the later 45 jukes. It's a Pickering cartridge with the yellow shovel needles.

  • @JukinJC1 you're lucky to have yours in such fine shape. Ah, the shovel needles, that's good and they track very light. I'm OK with the stereo redhead and T-needles in my DS160, tracking at approx 4.5 grams, it doesn't get played a whole lot; normally on weekends so I don't worry too much about wearing out my 45s LOL

  • I want one!!!!!! That is the B E S T .....I will just keep looking for one, thanks for putting it up on youtube! Jackie
