I knew a friend of mine was on that train because he made a DVD of that event and he road this train. Sad that they could only go a short distance since the bridge is out. I hope the bridge is repaired soon. :( :)
The 483 was the first engine to run on the C&TS. It is now sitting in the back of the yard in need of work. Another engine was painted in the 483 colors to stand in for that engine. I thought it was the 484 but it may have been the 487.
