You need to throw a "2nd time only" part in for the first three bars of the trumpet melody. There should be no interruption after the repeat.

Actually i just listened to the song and it sounds more like an eighth+eighth rest than a tie. Either way, no matter what its supposed to be, the difference is small enough so that with casual listening, it may not be caught. So why are you being so rude? And, you assume that they have never listened to the song.

You've definitely gotten the intro down, but I would recommend looking into doing the refrain as well. That's where it gets really powerful, at least for me.

Personally, I use Finale PrintMusic; more featured than NotePad, but I don't need all the bells and whistles. Cost me $90 to $100.
