  • @reptileboicollecter3 The cages are made by boaphile plastics

  • @kamptraining

do you need thermostat with heat bulb??

do you use a thermostat with your heat builds??

  • @kamptraining

Do you need a thermostat for heat builbs??

also how do you make sure your cold side of the cage is cold enough????????/

    thanks

  • @Bloodygeek1 Thermostats aren't needed for heat lamps. You need to have the room temperature around what your cool side needs to be. If the cool side =80, room temp should be around 75-80. Does that make sense?

  • @kamptraining

    yeap thanks very much!!

  • @kamptraining

    yeap thanks very much!!

  • @kamptraining

    thanks

  • How the fuck do you have the money for all off the snakes

  • @fishymusician One at a time. And I save up. I'm up to 30 right now.

  • @kamptraining Were Did You Get Those Cages, Racks For Your Snakes. How Much Were They Also Im Considering Becoming A Snake Breeder And My Snake Room Is PACKED And Very Messy So I Was Wondering Were You Got Them?

  • Setups look great! Glad to see another girl in the hobby, but I gotta say, the tape in the ball python tank makes me a bit nervous. I've seen WAY too many horror stories.

  • @SpartaDog13 Tape? What horror stories? I've never had any problems when I had my set-up in this video.

  • @kamptraining It's not a guarantee, but always a risk. They can easily get stuck on exposed adhesive (an upturned corner, etc) and be injured trying to free themselves. There is a thread on ball-pythons. net highlighting a snake that tore a chunk of skin off her neck trying to escape some duct tape in her cage.

  • NICE rocking the NightQuil Box!!!

  • what type of vivariums are those? they look well nice :)

  • How much a month dose it cost to feed all?

  • @jarrod300zx Depends on where I buy my rats and mice, and how many snakes I have at that time.

  • Love your snakes!!!!!!! WHat is the minimum size for a adult male red foot boa. i have one and hes only a baby but i want a custom enclosure. Like FxHxW?

    Thanks

    -Sam

  • @chicagocubs2124 I wouldn't keep them in anything smaller than a 4ft x 2ft x 1ft

  • where is ferb?

  • do you have to buy two ball pythons at the same time to house them togethor? i have one now. if i get another one at the pet store could i put it in the same cage or no?

  • Your snake likes nyquil?

  • i love those black cages. where did you get them.

  • @pastel0711 Boaphile Plastics

  • Where did you buy cages from?

  • Where did you get those cages from?

  • I don't know if anyones said but you sound SO much like the chick who gets possessed from The Exorcist..

I Subed btw thanks for making vids!

PS/ At 12 seconds in video i love that enclosure! <3 Want it =[

  • what kind of cages are toes and were did u get them

  • Cool vid! Need to get my 11 sorted out, gives me some inspiration.

  • I want a snake but i dont want anything that grows larger than 2 to 2 1/2 feet what do you recommend would be the best. And id there a snake that does not eat mice?

  • @alienman475 All snakes eat other animals. Rodents/fish/lizards are the ONLY food source for a snake. They CAN'T eat hamburger/turkey/pork. Some lizards can eat ground meat, but all snakes need whole animals to eat. A snake that stays pretty small would be a Kenyan Sand Boa. Most are under 2ft. Females get larger than males.

  • @kamptraining or a hognose

  • @kamptraining all predators eat other animal including humans hamburgers/pork/turkey is differrent animals

  • @argosman90 Sorry, allow me to clarify. WHOLE. They need the bones, fur and guts as much if not more than the meat from the animal. And yes, Burmese pythons will eat rabbits, pigs, chickens and such, but they only eat whole animals. (Exception to that is if the snake is too small to eat a whole, then just a lizards tail for example, but all parts, bone, skin and meat).

  • @kamptraining i know

  • @alienman475 Garter snakes, rough Green snakes are the only snakes in the bet trade that either dont need mice or cant have them

  • @alienman475 hi if you realy want a smal snake go for a male hoggnose.

The female gets like twise as bigg ore maybe some more but they are smal to

so you can check them out.

PS: They look realy cool but are to smal for my taste

  • @SidPower93 but they have a toxic bite. and that can put someone who is new to having snakes off a bit.

  • @valhalla678 nha the toxic is in ther spitt and its nothing to think about. Most people wont have any reactions from this "toxic". Maybe only if youre alergik you can reacht on it.

They tested it on a vid on the chanel SnakeBytesTV and no1 of the people geting bitt reacted from it.

So if your not alergik its nothing to cear about

(BAD ENGLISH???? well then sry =P)

  • @alienman475 You could try an egg-eating snake, which as the name suggests, eats eggs. They grow to about 4 foot if my memory serves right. There are a few examples that don't reach large sizes, such as the ribbon snake, and some species of garter snakes. There are a few other species, but wouldn't recommend them as a first snake. The most important thing is that you do a lot of research on potential snakes, and realise their potential size before getting one.

    Hope that helps!

  • @alienman475 garter

  • @alienman475 you could get a garter snake they eat small fish ...... but if you do DO YOUR REASERCH!!!

  • @alienman475 Western Hognose would be a good snake and easy to care for. They do not get more than 3 ft typically and most males never get past the two foot mark. They are toad eaters in nature but from a good breeder they should be switched over to pinkies. This will make feeding much easier as you will have a steady source of appropriately sized food.

  • @alienman475 the perfect animal for you would be a garter snake , they stay small and you can feed them goldfish or insects !

  • @alienman475 Garter snakes can eat fish. Egg-eating snakes eat eggs, but they never grow up to the size when they can eat chicken eggs. They can only eat quail eggs.

  • I have lizards, but i want a snake and which one would you prefer the most? Corn snake or ball python?

  • @bobster869snakeboy I perfer ball pythons or boas. But I know a lot of people who love corns. Best to do research on both and find out which you think you'll like better.

  • great video!

  • Must be a pretty penny to feed all of them:p

  • @ckeffel1 Not really, not compared to their actual cost. And I buy locally in bulk, which saves a lot of money.

  • hey nice room :) i just bought a corn snake yesterday lol(bout 12 inches long) but hopefully ill haver a few like you do :) but wont be getting anything other than corn snakes :P

  • nice vid, keep it up ; D

  • Great Video, I'm looking around for some large cages, and boaphile cages are great, but how much did those cages cost you? Just the black one the top and the one in the bottom?

Are each sold separetely or do they come together? How much is the bottom, and the how much is the top? Please help, the website isn't so helpful because of the construction of the website. Please help thanks!!!

  • @StonedHaven I just went to Boaphile Plastic's website and it was working for me. If you click the link on the side that is labeled "6' & 8' Caging" and "Multi-Unit Caging" you can scroll down to the list of what different sizes they have and they have a price right next to them. As for extras like heating, lighting and shelves, scroll down almost to the bottom of the page and there will be a list of extras and how much they are. Also, Jeff is really responsive if you e-mail him.

  • @kamptraining Thanks so much, they're a bit price, but they last a lifetime.

Thanks :) I love your red tail btw. I bought a red-tail a few days ago it's coming tomorrow along with a het albino ball-python :)

  • i have a 5 month old red tail you have many beautiful snakes and i can tell how dedicated you are to caring for your pets

  • when you breed normal X pastel, dont you get 50% normal 50% hypo?

  • @cdlabelsideilive No. The pastel gene in ball pythons is co-dominant. So 50% Pastel, 50% normal. The hypo gene in ball pythons is recessive, so you need to "hets" to have a 25% chance of getting a Hypo.

  • Did you install lights in the Boaphile cages? I didnt think they came with lighting.

  • @Warhawk107 I did install the lighting I have in the boaphiles, but you can order then with lights too. I didn't want to pay for them when I ordered the cages and found a way to use rope light into lighting for much cheaper.

  • nice!! my ball python got nipped during its last feeding... now its gotta small scratch on its back. nothing serious but ruins its buety. :(

  • nice snake room and nice snakes ^^ very nice

  • Nice snake room. Are those Boaphile cages?

  • @InspctrClouseau Yes they are boaphile cages

  • Does the 4ft condo have a light in it? Does 4ft condo come in 17in high? Also 4ft condo have dividers in it so you could make 4 cages 3 , 2 or 1 long one If you removed dividers? Also how long have you had these kind of cages? Do they warp over time?

I'm asking so many questions because I want cages that last more than 2 years.

  • I haven't had the cages more than a year and a half, but I have used cages that haven't warped. They are reinforced along the top.

The condo only comes in the 11.5 in height. And yes, it comes with three dividers that you can put in or take out.

You can get lights put in them as well as radiated heat panels and undertank heat. I put rope lights in my boaphiles, to save money and becasue I could do it myself.

  • where do you get all the vivariums

  • In sorry I meant to say what size tank/cage? I ve been looking into their cages.

  • the top one is a four ft condo and the bottom one is a 5 ft expandable, 17" high

  • What size boaphile take do you have your ball python in?

  • shows you how much you know. theres nothing wrong with keep ball pythons together. If there healthy and not sick theres no reason not to. I know alot of people and alot of big breeders who keep ball pythons together. I Keep ball pythons together. It seems like they like being around other ball pythons. They never fight only time i split them up is when i feed them. They also soke together.

  • Wow. I did know. I guess you can have your opinion and I'll have mine.

  • you can do what ever you want with your snakes

  • why not put both ball pythons together.

  • It's not ideal to house snakes together when they are not breeding. If possible, each animal should have it's own enclosure.

  • 5 stars! definitely. Awesome setups and beautiful babies!

  • where did u get the tanks that the red tail boa and the ball python are in ?

  • Boaphile Plastics

  • beast snakes plaining to get a normal ball python or leopard gecko

  • awesome room! this is what i wanna do! way nicer then bins, but much more painful to my wallet:P

  • where did you get the cages in the begining

  • YOU ARE ONE DOWN ASS CHICK!!!!

  • Nice Collection

  • wow beautiful snakes. 5*
