I played like two chapters of the game and I hated how it was basically required to play as Mario the whole time, I wanna burn people with Bowser and play as Peach since she's always the one getting kidnapped. :( I miss the turn based battle paper mario that the first two were also.

Anyways is this supposed to be some kind of stone-aged world? @QponFILMZ Then stay far away from this title as it plays nothing like the previous two entries in the series. It's a platformer not an RPG. They still have a few items from the previous two but some have been changed the life shroom now only recovers five HP when you die some of the Mushroom items have been changed into shroom,shakes instead of real mushroom items. Instead of star points you have to increase ypur score to level up *2bcont.*

@QponFILMZ *continued* you have to increase your score in order to level up (yes in a platform game) there are RPG elements but the game still is a platformer the Mushrooms come out of blocks heal you and are not items. The only party members you get are Peach Bowser and Luigi and you only really use the others when you need to (Luigi especially hardly ever gets used) you get more of these other characters called Pixls than party members (they all have different abilities though) *2bcont.*

I have to agree with what this one guy said the dseigns for the new characters like the main NPCs in the two hub worlds and other places they look like they were made in MS Paint, the least they could have done was bother to give them all hands. And just to let you know I have yet to see any of the traditional Toad, Goomba, Doogan, Koopa troopa, Bob-omb, Lakitu, Bandit ect. as friendly *2bcont.*

Not to mention I have yet to see a single Squeek or Doogan in this game. Anyways I don't hate this game on it's own it's still kind of addicting if you can stand long tasks but as an entry in the Paper Mario series it doesn't belong as Paper Mario was intended to be an RPG series as it was called Mario RPG 2 before the name change.

on this level, instead of going 3-d, i just beat them up with bowser, and then i used a catch-card sp to catch one, so instead of doing 8 damage, i did 16 damage. And since they have 100 hp, it only took me a few hits to beat them.
