Great game. I still play it and I'm still finding hilarious glitches.

The latest let me walk under the ground and shoot up at Germans and tanks without getting shot back.

The one before that catapulted my man about 100 metres up into the air and he died screaming.

I love this game, got it when it first came out, one of my favourites. Although it contained a lot of bugs it's very addictive and with epic music. The producers were very generous releasing H&D Deluxe for free, works like a charm on XP. For those that don't have this game, get it!

@Rawlof to zoom: use the + and - keys to change through views. when using the snipe you should come to the scope view if you press +, now all you have to do is hold the Z button while moving the mouse up and down to zoom in and out.

dont know why but i remember very intensely every bit of this game maybe because it had great gameplay and it was pretty hard and was my first action game.i think i spend 2-3 months to finish it but i was 10 years old then...the last level was not so hard as others in my opinion like fending of attacks in a solely airport...do you remember how crazy it was to fend off about 100 enemies and then escape with an aeroplane with lots of ppl still shooting you?

Come on wasn't that hard - I've finished the game on highest difficulty many times. No game with infinite save games is hard. Try playing Aliens vs Predator 1 (nearly impossible) or Red Hammer addon for Operation Flashpoint - this one is quite challenging.

This game comes from an era when your hand wasn't held for three levels giving you a mindless tutorial on every facet of the control system, or explaining the level or weapon designs. Grow a pair, play a difficult game and see if you don't feel cocky after it.
