  • Hi Steve no not been in yet but will check it out soon and get back to you my X4 still going great but my KTM supermoto sick will electrical gremlins

  • HI - went to fastline on friday to buy a new topbox - it's a smaller shop but still has some nice bikes in! Have you been yet?

  • Hi! I've just phoned fastline , before setting off for manchester bike show...by bus...well it's -3 outside! Gary said they're not doing this show but will be at the other manchester one in march at trafford park - and you'll be pleased to know that they are still open but have moved up the road as I thought! New hall lane is up the road from the old shop, past the pubs, turn right at the lights then first left...and your on new hall lane..on foot it's a ten minute walk. regards from Steve.

  • Hello again! Did 'Fastline' relocate up the road a bit to 'new hall lane'? I was gonna check this out at the weekend but I might be going to the Manchester Bike Show at the G-Mex instead! I suppose I could always phone them to see if they're still in business!

  • Hi Steve Aye all the best from Scotland yep i saw your X4 in Fastline it was a cracker you had it looking great . I went to the 2006 rally at Lunen it was ace but never got round to going to anymore . I still have my X 4 and also a 2008 KTM 690 supermoto which is dead at the moment some electronic probs ...bloody new bikes ha ha.

Dont think you know this Fastline is closed down im gutted im down in Preston all the time with my job and now have nowhere to visit except the Harley shop .

  • boomerang!...on a final note..i forgot to mention the special x4 stickers i had made..from the image works in nottingham...see the pics on the x4 forum. i took a photo of the x4 tank logo, and the image works scanned it and made loads of stickers which i stuck everywhere...even some tiny ones round the front discs! Did you see the red 'l.e.d's' at the back end?- they're easy to wire up and look cool as brake-lights- i still have a new set if you want em...get in touch! steve.

  • p.s i've always had hondas - and most of em have been exotic import models, my favourite one was my cb700sc nighthawk s, which out-accelerated the cb1300 superfour to 100mph..if only honda made a 1300 nighthawk! next time you speak to fastline, ask john to lend you the german dvd's and the japanese ones which i gave him..from there rallies...they're just like us...drinking beer, singing round a campfire, doing burnouts and wheelies etc!!! Steve.

  • Hello again- happy new year! been out on the beer so excuse spelling etc. did you see my pics on the x4forum? bought my x4 from john ashcroft at fastline - i got a few dvd's from the german guys..was it you that dropped the 'long distance' trophy onto the petrol tank? i exchanged my x4 for a lovely red and black superfour..but after losing my job..sold THAT....and i now have a little cb500s, sadly -but it's economical getting to my new, crap minimun-wage job !

  • Hi there i bought my X4 2003 from Gary at Fastline and still have it dont think its not the same bike mine just came in from Japan been to the X Rally at Lunen a few years ago cheers

  • HI! I was interested to see this because my x4 had a similar reg. p320 dfr! Ibought it from fastline bikes in preston and spent a few quid adding shiny parts to it, and i joined the german x4forum. you can still see photos of it on page 3 of their gallery, the beer can on the startermotor set!!

  • my x4 is model 2000 with only 400km

i never have time to enjoy it but decided to start riding it every weekend

i will add some videos soon

  • Hi there yeah you will enjoy the X4 its a great bike ive had my 7 years

At least you have hot weather in Egypt ha not like Scotland ha ha

check out Speedys X4 website its great for Honda X4 owners

  • I had a vmax: fun but poor handling and always worried about the engine o-ring problem plus it overheated in town. Replaced that with a gsx1400 but found it too top heavy and in standard trim at least it was slow.Finish was a bit thin also. Loving the MT-01 the thundering v-twin is good plus lots of low down torque also it handles well. But warming to the idea of an older X4 as well, like the vmax you sit in it rather than on it plus nice big 4 cylinder Honda motor and groovy 80's/techno style.

  • X4 is a really nice looking machine. Bloody Honda...you'd think they could knock up a few more. I've got an MT-01 which is great in its way but I'd sure like an X4 to park beside it....

  • Thanks man thats funny cos i would dearly love an MT01 im jelous they are awesome looking bikes he he

is it a torque monster , the X4 puts out 90 ft ibs but the big Yamaha puts out much more yee haa

check out my second bike for winter Suzuki DRZ 400 sm what a giggle that bike is

  • Was that your neighbour coming out to tell you to shut the feck up with the noise?

  • Yeah JT but hes a pal just kidding he he how did ya know it was me

  • hey im not looking for no hot date ... my girlfriend would kill me

  • yeaaah!! fantastic bike!!

  • Cheers ligsxr you also seem to be keen on the big Yam MT01 also awesome bike i would like one in my garage
