Dali was full of shit. He painted from his imagination and claimed it came from his subconscious because it fit the flag his "Art" was waving at the time. Freud knew this of course from the moment he met Dali and said as much. This of course pissed Dali right off and from then on the two were at war the rest of their miserable lives.

I like the use of grey values here, and the focusing of the foreground.

However, in the face to the left, the horizontal curvature across the ocular region has not been rendered correctly. As it is here, Dali's left eye is almost popping out of it's socket, the eyelid, in particular, being very oddly constructed. Do more life-drawing to avoid errors like this in the future.

@MrBraddock09 Few things. Firstly it's called a Graphics Tablet: It's always good to know the right words for things. And Secondly I'm not sure what program is being used but presumably Photoshop would do the trick.

Salvador Dali didn't deserve the amount of praise he got and still has, his painting is all about monument and visual tricks, not about the unconscious .He was kicked out of surrealism and Freud threw him out of his house after he tried to give him a painting.Dali is a hoax!
