When I first got into dubstep I wanted tons of bass but after listening to thousands of different mixes I learned that some times people are in a chill mood and make mixes bass on their feelings and some times I want to listen to dubstep without a ton of bass. I'm not saying either of you are wrong. I just wanted to share my opinion to try to help.
