I have this phone now and i actually find it quite boring! I have problems with the App World, cant create a Blackberry ID! And the back of it is proper scratched, ive even had it in a phone sock! Its very prone to damage! :(

@TheCanuck09 I have this phone. Texting is way easier than I thought it would be. You can use multitap or suretype. Initially I used multitap because it just seemed more intuitive, but once you get the hang of suretype it is FAST. I used a bold 9000 before this phone and find my typing almost the same speed. hope that helps

@chumiee I've had the pearl 3G for a while now. The keypad overall may be smaller than a regular sized BB, but the keys themselves are bigger, because of suretype. I've only ever had the pearl, I had the pearl 8130 before, and suretype is very comfortable for me and I prefer it over the traditional qwerty keyboard.

I used to work for at&t and the original pearl didnt even have the white scroll ball. it had a wheel on the side of it... plus the like 8100 had a LED changer in it to change the color of the ball... so what you said is just not relavent.
