whatever pres putin tells me to..i mean , pres putin is pulling my..what i mean to say is the strings..gun in my back putin is...im telling you that pres putin is accross the street with a sniper rifle pointed at my head..putin is great, im sorry what was the question
haha russia must feel big and strong beating such a world power Georgia!! hahahahahaha if russia did something retarded against a nato nation, the whole russia would exist from dust now!! fuckin russia is a country ruled by worst scum maffioso! hahaha russia is poor as shit! haha
@xman822 What did the pansy NATO bitches do when americans started bombing tan people? Not a dam thing. Cause they dont care, its all about money, but many sheep have low IQ's and will NEVER be able to figure out anything.
Well done to Russia. Georgia started the war and this was obvious. Russians protected the civilians and gave them independence. Congratulations from Greece! Georgia should feel ashamed about its attack to orthodox people in Abkhazia and Ossetia! They are brothers not enemies! not Muslims! not foreign! Everybody will do the same not only Russia but Greece too if you started a war with the minority of Greeks there! It was unacceptable from your side!
Abkhazians and south ossetians had been applying for Russian passports, not Georgian ones. It is obvious that over the years Georgia has not succeeded in winning over public opinion in Abkhazia, s.ossetia . Georgian nationalists have also threatened the Javakheti region, where many Armenians live
It was georgia who attacked Abhazia and Ossetia, Russia supported the smaller nations. When Kosovo wanted independance, USA supported her, while Kosovo people chaised out Serbians from their homes in Kosovo, Abhasians and Ossetians didnt chase out anyone, how is it logical that USA supports Kosovo and not Abhazia or Ossetia?
Actually Kosovo will never be part of United States or any other state.Abhazia and S.Ossetia "want" to join Russian Federation and this is actually occupation. The free democratic world would never accept it.
RT is just as corrupt as the Russian government. Russia can support the independence of these Georgian territories because no one else does. LOL Russia is further isolating itself and moving backwards in history while the United States, under the genius Barack Obama is moving forward. If Russia doesn't change, it will eventually completely melt down like the USSR did in '91. Molodetz Rossiya Molodetz!
No major breakthrough's were accomplished that would threaten the Germans such that they would consider a surrender until the Americans arrived and long after the Russians had weakly withdrawn.
The French would go on the defensive for the next year, leaving the burden of attack to Britain, her Empire and other allies, and subsequently the United States.
So once Again the fate of all those crappy countries in Europe and Asia are decided by whom? Russia ? nope she quit lol? France? Nope she went on the defensive and you never win wars while completely on the defensive. Oh that's right it was decided by the USA, the UK and Germany. Just like in ww2, how sad for Russia.. fail lol
The other Allied forces attacked but received massive casualties. However, appeals to patriotism and duty, as well as mass arrests and trials, encouraged the soldiers to return to defend their trenches, although the French soldiers refused to participate in further offensive action. Robert Nivelle was removed from command by 15 May, replaced by General Philippe Pétain, who suspended large-scale attacks.
On 3 May 1917 during the Nivelle Offensive the weary French 2nd Colonial Division, veterans of the Battle of Verdun, refused their orders, arriving drunk and without their weapons. Their officers lacked the means to punish an entire division, and harsh measures were not immediately implemented. There upon the mutinies afflicted 54 French divisions and saw 20,000 men desert.
I never said we won them alone however without our aid and assistance Russia is overrun in WW2 and there is no battle for Stalingrad for there would be no weapons. lol The tonnage of war supplies we supplied both the English and the Russians were what kept the war in Europe from being decided long before the Americans joined the war.
In short naval blockade, poor weather and civil unrest. Which should be treated as a causethat ended the war.
the US helped. but saying they played a massive put a single handly won ww1 makes you look like a retard. (australlia and canada did more fighting than the US)
the canadains joined ww1 and ww2 before you guys did. now thats a joke.
the canadains joined ww1 and ww2 before you guys did. now thats a joke.
The Russians joined WW2 before us too however they joined on the side of the Nazi's and helped carve up poor Poland. Yeah Russia was just sooo heroic during WW2.......... not. Russia was just as bad as Germany throughout that time period.
It's military advantage was paper though. After four years of naval blockade Army rations were now so poor the troops were suffering from malnourishmen. The 1917/18 winter was particularly harsh and the crops failed. Feeding the army cause famine to break out among the civil populous in German. Inspired by the Russian revolution socialists encouraged civil unrest and strikes across the country. The infrastructure collapsed and the army stopped receiving supplies.
After the German advances were halted in 1914 the advantage swung to the allies. The Germans were out number 5:4 on the western front. They had superior number but even in 1915 the supplies of food to troops significantly poorer than those to allies, however the allies were unable to breakthrough the German lines.
This was until Britain invented the Tank and the rolling artillery barrages that enable the first significant advances of the war.
I mean, I'm all for Abkhazia's independence, but seriously.
Congratulations to Russia & The New Republics of Abkhazia & South Osetia. At last The Neo-Con Project The New American Century is facing the music. We live in an International Community and we DO NOT need an American Empire nor any kind of Empires
So, apparently we don't need Russia now?
Because if you want to point the finger at someone, Russia deserves it the most. There is a huge list, with Chechnya at the top.
Finally, you consistantly say Russia isn't civilized. That's funny, because the U.S is founded on genocide and slavery. Russia started expanding it's country in the 1500s, and strangely enough, those ethnic groups it encountered has many and numerous descendents very much alive today. Quite a contrast with the Nativec Americans.Russia had a serf system similar to slavery, but these were peasantry as opposed to people kidnapped and sold at markets like cattle
@jeffdolan Until very recently European Russia, indeed all Russia, put man in space for the first time, essentially ruled half the World and pushed scientific progress to the limit - THATS how "uncivilised" the Russians are! :) Sadly, many people seem unable to differentiate between a political ideology and a nation state (and likewise from a people); simmilarily the number of comments I see saying "Soviet Russia" or "USSR" when refering to modern day Russia is actually quite worrying.
What sickens me bout the 'we saved the world in world war two' argument is that Bush and his supporters have used this noble sacrifice to justify an extremly puerile mis-adventure based on a facile premise that initially resulted in the loss of 13,000 innocent Iraqi civilians . Since then thousands more have died. Today, the US is not the liberator it was in 1944!
Im certainly not cenying the role America played, but that war was fought under a Democrat administration, and the President was Roosevelt. America under Roosevelt only entered that war because Germany and Japan declared war on it.
Bush brought America into the present quagmire that is Iraq citing a possibility Sadam had wmds. They didn't exist. Even if he had, it is extremly dobtable he'd have used them, given the fact that the US has a nuke arsenal 50,000 times that of the Hiroshima bomb
"However when it became apparent that your crappy country could no longer survive the attack let alone repel one from a Country not even 1/5 your size we realized that we had to come to your rescue"
I'm from Ireland, we were neutral then, so there was no actual defending of our country.
Germany was being pushed back by the USSR when America entered the war, and it was Russia who reached Berlin first.
I'm certainly not denying the role America played, but it was the Democrats under
However when it became apparent that your crappy country could no longer survive the attack let alone repel one from a Country not even 1/5 your size we realized that we had to come to your rescue. So along with taking out Japan, we also were able to split our forces and kick Germany's ass as well.
Twice Europeans called for America.... begged for America to get involved and twice we have bailed your crappy continent out. So SHUT IT!!
We joined and did what Russia nor England could not do and that is serve up both the Japanese and Germans with resounding defeats. Where we used tactics your people used human waves. That and brutality do not make it a patriotic war but a sad one for Russia and her brutal empirialistic ways.
You should pick up a book sometime we joined what at the time would've been the losing side when Russia in a pussy move pulled out of WW1 allowing millions of German troops to be freed up to fight on the western front, and still we whooped that European ass, just like we always have. Get a book then get a clue then wait for a thought that makes sense. For you this may take a while.
yes russia caved in, but you still joined the winning side. the amount of troops you sent was tiny compared to other nations. you used french tanks and british uniforms.
"Where we used tactics your people used human waves."
please read history the americas used "human waves" just like anyone else. by that time the british where useing creaping artillity and mass tanks, the americans made no great breakthounghs. they only made supporting attacks with the french.
Millions of men were freed up from the Eastern front when the coward Russia withdrew from the war. Yet somehow the French and English which to that point had made little to no headway suddenly are able make big pushes even though the Germans are now being reinforced!!!! Really? lol if you say so lol learn some World War 1 history
By the way, it sickens me how you Yanks use intervention in the second world war to justify your current mis-advetures in places like Iraq.
We are just sick of Europeans getting involved and in bed with Dictators (ie Hitler and Stalin's pacts to carve up Eastern Europe or perhaps Hussein and the oil line proposed to go to Russia.) then when they attack you, your country acts like they can't believe that a dictator mad man would ever do such a thing, and begs for us to come bail them out again.
Americans regularly intervene in their 'national interests' (i.e; oil, or potential nationalisation of industries, as was the case in Chile and Grenada)
You mean Russia regularly intervenes in their national interests (i.e; The attempt to put a pro kremlin president in the Ukraine, and of course Chechnya, and now Georgia.
Abkhazia & South Osetia don't exist. This russian nonsense is only a try for threatening the European Union. Attack a isolated defenseless country as Georgia was illegitimate and a dishonour for Russia. If the Federation continues, the Union will take counter-measures to recover the security and democraty in Georgia.
Saakachvili a criminal? And Putin in Tchetchenia? That was russian land, you retook it with great violence, so Georgia did as well.
The EU and the USA are maybe shy for the moment because nobody is ready to die for Ossetia. But if you continue with Moldavia, Ukraine or the rest of the Caucase, you will be kicked out like Hitler.
Vostorgina01 acts as though he is unbiased but he states that he is here to advance Russian policy and to use Russian culture and other means to influence our perception of them as a state that enjoys murdering people. Funny thing is that he includes countries that want nothing to do with Russia as being part of this group that have achieved so much.
We all contributed to our great empire, and all are glorified in the same measure.
yes glorified by being invaded/murdered/voter intimidation and fraud in the elections of the Ukraine and Belarus (the Ukrainian election of a pro kremlin candidate was overturned by the people who stated that they were intimidated and cheated out of a free election and in the recount, yeah that's right the man who opposed Putin won but not without being first poisoned by some of Putin's thugs.
Oh yes but the truth is that it is pro-russian candidate VS pro-USA candidate. USA put more money there basicaly and they have much more experience in gambling with elections in other countries.
Calm down now you little commie, listen just because your used to your country killing your very own people on a daily basis doesn't mean the rest of the world will put up with your PURGES in other sectors of the world. And btw Russia tried to poison the Ukrainian president however the pro kremlin candidate has to this date had nothing happen to him. hmmmm so what involvement did we have?
BTW Poland is currently helping us put in a missile defense system to help stop Russia from being the insane country they have always been and blow the rest of the world up. Must be they haven't forgotten how Russia treats Polish citizens IE they must not have forgotten about Katyn.
Whoa whoa whoa. Don't say "insane like they always were" so your saying we were insane ever since Peter the Great and before? No. Every country has dark histories so don't go on and blame Russia for everything bad in the world.
"My Russkiye - kakoi vostorg!" is the title of one of my favourite websites. That is the intent of this channel, to bring forth the wonders that the peoples of Great Russia have wrought, and to share them with all who care to come in peace and honest decency. This means that the combined efforts of Russians, Byelorussians, Ukrainians, Jews, Tartars, Russo-Germans, Cossacks, and all the other nations that make up our great people are showcased equally and without discrimination.
At the same time, according to 2005 research by VCIOM, the share of Russians approving censorship on TV grew in a year from 63% to 82%. What truths are they censoring now?
According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, since 1992, 43 journalists have been killed in Russia for their professional activity (which makes it the third deadliest country for journalist in 1992-2006 period): 30 while Boris Yeltsin was President, and 13 since Vladimir Putin became President, as of 2006.
In January 2008, Oleg Panfilov, head of the Center for Journalism in Extreme Situations, maintained that a system of "judicial terrorism" had started against journalists under Putin and that more than 300 criminal cases had been opened against them over the past six years.
Hmmm people who oppose Putin find themselves being put on trial, yeah that is real freedom huh?
Since the early 1990s, a number of Russian reporters who have covered the situation in Chechnya, contentious stories on organized crime, state and administrative officials, and large businesses have been killed. On October 7, 2006, Anna Politkovskaya, a journalist who ran a campaign exposing corruption in the Russian army and its conduct in Chechnya, was shot in the lobby of her apartment building.
Russia has provided no evidence of war crimes. If there is such evidence it must be produced, investigated and acted on. But Russian actions are untenable. First, in its own military operations, Russia has violated successive UN Security Council resolutions which they themselves agreed. Most recently Resolution 1808, passed in April, reaffirmed Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as limits on the Russian peacekeepers.
the abkhaz and the Ossettes do't want to be ruled by Tblisi. Whatever else one may say about Putin, these people have the right to determine their own outcomes. Sakashvilli is a tie chewing half wit.
the abkhaz and the Ossettes do't want to be ruled by Tblisi. You mean like Chechnya wanted its own independence? Yeah .. we see how Russia deals with people who want their freedom.
Well, Russia is an empire just like any other. America is great at delivering democracry via cluster bombing. Let's see ; Panama, Grenada, Haiti on a number of occasions, backing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. The Yanks and the Russians are two sides of he same coin. I'm with, as aforementioned, the Abkhaz and Ossettes. If you'd taken the trouble to read my entry, you'd have sween I clealy wrote "...whatever else one might say about Putin..."
Might I add that America seems to be fixated with the idea that semi-retarded Christian evangelicals make good politicians. Americans are soon going to have a nutty looking woman from Alaska who believes bombing the shit out of Iraq was a God sent idea as vice President. Russia has Medvedev, cool ,calm and collected. Whose finger would you rather habve next to the nuke button. Fucking Yanks...
Wow yeah your so right because the United kingdom has always been even handed when dealing with foriegn nations errrr yeah actually no. BTW Medvedev is just a puppet of Putin which is still obviously in control and beginning to bring back the days he remembers as the good times, the USSR. Medvedev and Putin are real cool and calm when they were torturing people in Chechnya. Fucking European hippies dragging us into your crappy countries to fight wars you can't solve/finish on your own.
The United Kingdom? I'm from Ireland, hence my support for the independence of small nations, be they Abkhazia, South Ossetia or Chechnya.Let me guess, you saw my profile, which clearly states I'm from Ireland, and so decided to get real nasty and p-ersonal with me by alluding to my country being the U.K. Oh, my, what an insult, I'm so upset I'm jess gonna agree with you and see how you guys are the good guys, yeah dude...
Anyway,Russian peacekeepers were attacked and killed by the invading Georgians, so what did you expect them to do? Americans regularly intervene in their 'national interests' (i.e; oil, or potential nationalisation of industries, as was the case in Chile and Grenada) By the waqy, it sickens me how you Yanks use intervention in the second world war to justify your current mis-advetures in places like Iraq. That war kicked off in 1939 but it took you lot another three years before you entered.
Anyway,Russian peacekeepers were attacked and killed by the invading Georgians
Glad you were there (lol oh you weren't) nice job at being completely unbiased (errr full of agenda)
so what did you expect them to do?
If you mean the Russians of course we knew they would invade some sovereign nation soon, otherwise the Russian Government would have had to be dealt with like they were civilized and we know Russia isn't civilized.
lol you Russian's don't sound like you knew what your doing after all. The leader of South Ossetia said he wanted to rejoin with Russia. Russia, however, said hell no. Now you have a country who's economy is based on the Roki tunnel. Way to go Russia!!!, you've really screwed these people over.
Way to go, America! You just killed the neocon project with your own hand! Way to go, America! You just paid for a sneak attack by your neo-Nazi ally! If Georgia is so democratic, why does France refuse to extradite Georgian political exiles to face Saakashvili's kangaroo courts? I am tired of ignorant neocons. You are nothing but spoiled brats in soiled nappies. "All those who march on Russia shall be put to death".
If Georgia is so democratic, why does France refuse to extradite Georgian political exiles to face Saakashvili's kangaroo courts?
Maybe we should instead ask why Putin hasn't arrested one single criminal involved with the murder of innocent people within Russia herself. Former KGB murderers who slaughtered innocent people for the USSR walk among the innocent everyday. But since Putin is after all a criminal and murderer himself I suppose arresting these men would be hypocritical.
You are ignorant... therefore, one must be lenient. Invaders were thrown back in 1242, 1380, 1612, 1709, 1812, 1853, and 1941. The quote is from Prokof'ev's "Aleksandr Nevsky: A Canatata", which you should have known. Since you do not, you have no call to comment on adult topics as you lack the requisite knowledge. There is a difference between beating back invaders and being the invader!
You're not even 30! I was serving in the forces before you were born. I thought your comments were immature, so, I checked your homepage. You're only 29! Do you speak Russian, German, or French? Have you been in Moscow, Berlin, or Paris? Hypocrite?
Georgia struck first, child. I repeat, I was serving before you were a gleam in your father's eyes. In Russian, you call those such as you "bezkulturny". Don't step up to the adult table, you're not ready.
Been to Berlin, Paris, Brussells, London, Japan, New Zealand, Austrilia, China, Mexico, Canada, Fiji, and Spain, how about you.
Anyone who post a foolish ignorat comment such as "all those who march on Russia shall be put to death." Its an absolute remark and only tyrants and immature children make such comments. Looks like I learned more than you in my 29 years on this planet.
Nope, you're wrong! If you were educated and cultured, you would know it as a quote from Prokof'ev's Aleksandr Nevsky, bezkulturny. Ex-US Navy myself, and I HAVE been more places than you. You claim to be Merchant Navy, officer or AB? I dare say you sound the latter!
In short, give up! I don't know why I'm toying with the likes of you, in any case. You are an ignorant neocon, and I shall always oppose your false nihilist view of the world.
2nd Mate Unlimited/1600ton Master infact. You claim to be 54 for but the only thing you shown me is that you've spent your life being ignorant and an inability to see the difference between black/white and grey. You don't know a thing about me, first off I am not a fucking neocon. Even in your own profile you ask people not to respond to negative comments buts that all you have posted here. You are first and foremost an ignorant hypocite.
Indeed! The only word you use is hypocrite! Your vocabulary is limited and shows to me that you lack breeding. I responded to your negative and uninformed postings. Indeed, be careful! Your temper is unrestrained, and your profanity... it doesn't make you "stronger"...
I am many things... hypocrite... no. America is such. Any leadership that approves Grad attacks on civilians is evil and all those who support the same are evil as well.
Yes because Russia always knows who the invaders are, oh wait they always know who the invader is because it is always the Russians invading countries from Poland to the occupation of all of Eastern Europe to Georgia today. The Russian aggression has not changed just whom they decide to attack for no other reason then to kill maim and otherwise harm those that would not join the Russian Federation/new Soviet Union IE Georgia.
1)you did not answer my question,2)i challenge you to prove this and 3)the only fags that stole money from their own country were puppets of our f(r)iends from the west.(yeltsin, gorbachov etc)
If I was the leader of Russia I wouldnt allow the country to fall apart even if it meant nuclear war. So think carefully about what you want in the 'west'. If you push Russia too far I think you will all pay the price in Europe. Keep following the USA to the destruction of Europe - the USA might be able to withstand a nuclear was with Russia without it being fatal but all of you in Europe will be burnt to a crisp. So think hard about what you all want.
Hey if you want nuclear war then lets have it out by the way killazer it must be nice to be able to live in the US and speak out against it. Freedoms you wouldn't have in Russia (not without being arrested or killed that is by the criminal Putin)
or is it greater in the us NOT to be warned, but shot and punished at will?
Isn't Bush a criminal for killing so many people in Iraq for almost a decade, even if for almost 3 years now he doesnt have any excuses? There arent any nukes in Iraq, even the us stated so...so what the heck will you be doing there until June of 2009?!?!?Eating pizza and watching porn?
Putin is a thief who stole millions from his own country when the communists were in control, has illegally gotten involved in two independent countries elections (Belarus and the Ukraine) bullying and causing the Orange revolution that called for a recount in which Putin's henchmen were not allowed to intimidate voters and the election was fair in which the Kremlin's puppet lost. Oh and Putin had the opposition in Ukraine poisened and has killed journalists and oppressed them for years.
What is your proof of this? You don't have any. This war started because Georgia fired Grad rockets without warning at sleeping civilians. Anywhere from 720 to 1,440 heavy artillery rockets (at least, if not more) slammed into Tskhinvali within 20 seconds. You are a soulless neocon pig and a liar, sir. Decent people spit on your assertions.
Putin's conduct in office has been questioned by domestic dissenters, as well as foreign governments and human rights organizations, for his handling of internal conflicts in Chechnya and Dagestan, his record on internal human rights and freedoms, his relations with former Soviet Republics, and his relations with the so-called oligarchs: Russian businessmen with a high degree of power and influence within both the Russian Government and economy.
Your stupidity is beyond measure. There is more diversity in Russian media outlets than in the USA. There are no PC "hate speech" codes to muzzle free speech. I only have 500 characters, otherwise I'd have you for breakfast! I do not care for New World Order sources, they are tainted. As for you, you don't speak Russian, ergo you know nothing of us. Oh, V V Putin is genuinely popular, G W Bush is not. Hmm...
There is MORE freedom in Russia than in the USA. There are no PC "hate speech codes", for instance. There is more diversity of opinion allowed in the media, unlike the US, where everything is controlled by media conglomerates. Again, neocon lies. Come to the rodina and see the truth! I have! Open your eyes and see the truth!
Your right and the FSB doesn't torture and murder people. Putin hasn't stolen millions and been found to have connections with money laundering groups in East Germany, and of course the journalists who speak out against Putin are held in the same regard by the government as the ones who support him.... ohh wait that is not the case. Let me put up some truth for you.
The FSB is not the KGB... only ignorant neocon Americans believe that lie. Stop listening to Kasparov and Socor, both are arrant fools. You say what you do because Russia refuses to kiss America's butt at high noon and because Russia refuses to accept American nihilistic hedonism.
Russia is the leader of the Orthodox world, and you'd best not forget that!
Russia didn't GRAD innocent civilians... Georgia did!
shorty has no idea what he is bringing upon his country. Russia is built up from opressed nations and with this precedent they will be inspired to secede and seek THEIR own independance. Chechnia was waiting for this kind of statement from Russia - Bye-Bye Caucausus, Siberia etc etc...
Russia also has valid claims to land such as Crimea - Crimea has been part of Russia for many hundreds of years and most of the eastern half of Ukraine is russian heartland territory.
Nope Ukraine existed already and was one of the "Russias",kiev was extremely important, while moscow was yet a vilage,so maybe its ukraine that can claim a lot.
Kiev was the old Russian capital Kiev is not Ukraine. Only western Ukraine is Ukrainian, past Kiev, the rest is Russian to the east. Russia has the tools to overrun Ukraine more easily than you might think and I think Russia will overrun Ukraine if it has to so keep talking.
I only side with what I think is right: USA has no business forming a military block it controls by proxy around Russias borders- one of the greatest countries in history with advanced space technology, nano-tech, nuclear technology - Russia has the most technology on the planet behind the USA. All countries around Russia should be neutral and have non aggression treaties otherwise the USA is forcing Russia to bring them back into its fold to defend its own existance.
Russia is a land of oppressed people and nations. As their own russian poet said "russia is a prison of Nations". It has no business in Caucasus at all. More nations they oppress, more popular USA will become. Get that and GO HOME RUSSIANS!
Get fuqing real man... the USA is a saint? The US government slaughtered Native Americans by the 10s of millions and took all of their land all the way to California. The USA slaughtered Mexicans and took their land, the US imported African Americans and worked them as slaves for centuries. USA in this day has killed millions of civilians in Iraq and conties to occupy their land and poison their children with genetic diseases from radioactive depleted uranium weapons - so fuq your USA as well.
USA is a land of freedom, people dream of coming and leaving in USA. "Imported Africans" never went back to Africa, they still live here and love USA. And because it is a world of opportunities, the black man might be the US president soon,. If you like russia and want to live in Russian GULAG you can go and enjoy yourself there.
USA STILL isnt home after committing genocide in Iraq...almost 10 years now so shut up ignorant americlan...tighten you cheap bastards youre just too shit!
Go ahead and move there is what i say then when the KGB... I mean FSB takes your family away just like they used to do in the Soviet Union for whatever you'll be crying and i will be laughing my ass off.
Funny that at least half of the Russian supporters don't live in Russia. It is interesting to see that people who talk this and that yet they wouldn't live in Russia on a bet and they or their families moved away because it was such a crap hole yet will defend anything Russia does.
I mean thank god Nato which Spain is a part of when they ask for troops thank god Spain is ready with their 13 personnel and two rubber boats are there to protect Spain's / Nato's interest.
i couldn't give two fucks about Spanish political status, i'm chilling in a mountain villa staring at Ibiza right now.
so, ur senseless rants into Spanish history might impress ur history teacher, but they're off topic and have no value.
it's funny how u switch topics, ur last argument was "usa is bringing humanitarian help in ships" LOL well, it's interesting how they never show the contents of the packages in the port, moving them suspiciously quick.
and if u wanna see a real humanitarian help, maybe russians re-building tshinvali and sending doctors and builders should do just right. i guess they won't show that on american tv - oh well.
and it's hilarious how the photos of "attack on georgian town of Gori" were debunked to bits on youtube, showing the same georgian propagandist in different clothes making sad faces. a bit desperate no?...so much for "butchering georgians"
Here is the truth about the man you so highly think of.
Vladimir Putin has been involved in two attempted voter frauds/intimidation we need look no further than the Ukraine or Belarus the Ukraine people actually fought back and had what is known as the Orange Revolution. The Belarus leader bought his election by giving over the oil pipeline in Belarus for Putin's assistance. and i should believe this guy why?
You spout of Ukraine ask the people of Crimea if they want to be part of Ukraine and the will say NO,they have wanted their indipendance for years,Ukraine refuses.
and then there is Chechnya whom has fought against Russia trying to get its freedom what of them? Russia refuses who cares it was an internal affair then why is it when Georgia tries to reunify S.O. it suddenly then becomes Russia's business.
I never heard of a reunion by running over innocent people with tanks, destroying schools churches and hospitals...And if you answer that russians did that aswell, well i have another argument...Georgians build their military bases next to their cities...try to bomb a base without accidentally killing innocent people...and for gods sake, more people died in ossetia than did in georgia...why do they need 1,5 mill dollars?I bet that that was just an excuse...
Russia has provided no evidence of war crimes. If there is such evidence it must be produced, investigated and acted on. But Russian actions are untenable. First, in its own military operations, Russia has violated successive UN Security Council resolutions which they themselves agreed. Most recently Resolution 1808, passed in April, reaffirmed Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as limits on the Russian peacekeepers.
first of all,if there was terittorial integrity, there wouldnt be any problem for georgia to join nato.but as nato asserted,as long as there are territorial conflicts,no country can be accepted. The same goes for georgia.
Secondly, Russia has, in the contrasting cases of Chechnya and Zimbabwe, argued vigorously against what it sees as international "interference" in internal affairs of sovereign countries. In this case it has blatantly violated the sovereignty of a neighbouring (and democratic) country. China and the Non-Aligned Movement will be surprised by this new position.
Gibraltor a 6 square km sector wow yay Spain your right to ever speak should've been taken away after the Spanish Inquisition, or perhaps after you wiped the Aztecs off the map (nice job) or maybe the wiping out of the Inca's would've been sufficient, but then there was Christopher Colombus wow the Spanish people and those that worked for them managed to kill and destroy so much it would've made Stalin blush.
kevin050780 your talk concerning Spain is so far of the off topic, but as you seem to be another ignorant American let me enlighten you on YOUR history, lets start with the native Americans, your forefathers almost wiped them of the face of the planet, there is your slavery and years of racism and brutal murder of Afro Americans, there is your A-Bomb attacks on Japan, the murder of civilians in Korea,Vietnam.Iraq,Afghanistan and could go on but you should see that you in fact have been hypocritical.
I'm not sure why i was evening discussing Spain that night when there are so many more interesting topics like how i should arrange my sock drawer, don't get your panties in a bunch because i pointed out Spain's faults and their complete lack of importance for over a century. Jesus Spain just threw out its last dictatorship in 1978 i would think you could have just had them killed by giving them some water from over there but hey that would kill them too easy right?
And PS just in case you didn't know where you lived, its the mother of all oppressors trust me England invented the word oppression just ask most of North Africa, anyone who is Irish, an ass ton of people in Asia or perhaps the Chinese people who your country forced drugs (Opium) into look if your gonna speak up know the history of the country you live in or are from otherwise you come out looking kind of hypocritical.
So again, some wikipedia about Putin, and some history about Spain that I could care less about. I live here, I'm chilling here.
Why should you believe Putin? Oh don't do that, believe the fucking facts, you worthless wannabe-know-it-all. And facts are: Saakashvili ordered artillery attacks on Russian and Ossetian citizens. That's all you need to know, genius. Who the FUCK cares about Opium and opression??
kevin050780 just so you know i am from Ireland,i am from the part called Northern Ireland which is under British control hence the reason i put United Kingdom,i dont wish it so but its that way and there is nothing that can be done, also in your infinite stupidity you fail to realise that the United Kingdom consits of 4 countries not just England,so go back and get an education.
England controls it all though so in actuality it's more like 1 country as you prove yourself by including yourself in the United Kingdom but it's not it is more like England and her subordinate countries that is why i call it 1 country because you are part of England because your own laws are made in England.
You have proven yourself an idiot for failing to realise that each subordinate country has its own laws and government, you are the typical American, uneducated and brainwashed, you think one sideded, you dont have the mentality to think past what your government and media tells you,so i guess what i say is wasted on you, that makes me pity you :(
thank god you don't still serve a king lol ohh wait hmmmm nevermind. I mean no one hates or even dislikes Spain right? Oh wait except those people who set off bombs in Madrid in 2004 right? It's always nice when a country who is part of Nato speaks out against the US especially Spain who is part of Nato and sent what to the nations Nato puts peacekeepers in some dirty water and a janitor who always seems sleepy? Your country is such a non factor that is reduced to arguing with Britain over
There is where Russia's hard earned dollars went to Putin's pockets through a large money laundering scheme nice huh? Well there is much more but i have made the point i came here to make which is why should anyone believe a criminal/murderer/war monger/ oppressor of free speech which is after all everything that Putin is and represents.
So you see i don't have to go back to the old Soviet Union to find Russia's problem when i can simply post a few facts about her current leader who is a mess.
u´re right...but that was to the time if the soviets...it seems that the american democracy needs wars, conflicts and enemies...why gives the usa money to several states supporting war and crime? and then a few years later the same administration bombs the people supported before...when will you bomb georgia???
Since the early 1990s, a number of Russian reporters who have covered the situation in Chechnya, contentious stories on organized crime, state and administrative officials, and large businesses have been killed.
During the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election, Putin twice visited Ukraine before the election to show his support for Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, who was widely seen as a pro-Kremlin candidate, and he congratulated him on his anticipated victory before the official election returns had been in. Putin's personal support for Yanukovych was criticized as unwarranted interference in the affairs of a sovereign state.
So what if half of Ukraine's people are Russian. So that means its ok to try and steal an election from the people, that isn't democracy that is communism which i am showing is alive and well, maybe not completely in Russia(although the media in Russia is moving that way) but it is alive and well in Putin.
He thinks he should be allowed to interfere with whomever he wants for no reason at all.
Just as I expected, a good read from wikipedia about Putin gives you a hell of a knowledge of Russia, no? So, money laundring? Bah, please. You want me to start counting USA government economic fuck ups and unexplained incomes? No, because everyone's making a living and any leader with power will do dirty money. Yesterday's news.
Now. We're talking about the current situation with Georgia, where Suckershvili assaulted civilian Tshinvali. We gonna what, sit back and watch? No, thanks.
Russia is currently debt-free, sitting on gold reserve and a bunch of AMERICAN INVESTMENTS into land and property, Moscow's a cash cow and life level got astronomically high since Putin's leadership.
Now, you're over here talking about Putin's money laundring, while Bush's sucking dollars from Iraq. Excuse me, are you pathetic or just pretend to be?
Russia protected S.O. It was Russia's initiative to stop the conflict. USA was AGAINST helping Ossetia. There's your democracy right there.
USA military ships are coming close to Russian shores. Why? Because Russia stopped a little war USA invested in and prepared Georgian soldiers for. Failed. Now they're pissed off, no surprise. It's not Russia who's sending ships to USA, it's the other way around. Wow, so much for Russia being an "agressor" in this situation.
No, kevin, rihgt now, this moment, USA is the only agressor there is to blame. Trying to play world policeman won't do any good. You'll see.
We are coming in to give humanitarian aid with our ships but since i have seen Russia's idea of how it should treat humanity killing Georgian civilians and butchering Chechens i can see why this idea would confuse you.
Your right i suppose if Russia would pay back the money it took to fund the lend lease act the US would probably be just fine.
I can see where you need to speak up though Smoki because Spain as a global leader is pretty much non existent/ no one listens nor cares what you have to say. Look the Spanish should really not get into aggression as it was after all you who discovered the new world and killed a good portion of its indigenous people. I mean jesus way to leave the 18th century behind
The fact is Putin helped the pro Kremlin leader bully and intimidate voters along with outright voter fraud. Which if you look up the orange revolution you will find Putin's man that he wanted in was corrupt just like him.
Crises have also developed in Russia's relations with Georgia and Moldova, both former Soviet republics accusing Moscow of supporting separatist entities in their territories.
Putin is funding wars through seperatists as we speak so he will have an excuse to invade other countries.
In May 1990, Putin was appointed Mayor Sobchak's advisor on international affairs. On June 28, 1991, he was appointed head of the Committee for External Relations of the Saint Petersburg Mayor's Office, with responsibility for promoting international relations and foreign investments. The Committee was also used to register business ventures in Saint Petersburg.
Less than one year after taking control of the committee, Putin was investigated by a commission of the city legislative council. Commission deputies Marina Salye and Yury Gladkov concluded that Putin understated prices and issued licenses permitting the export of non-ferrous metals valued at a total of $93 million in exchange for food aid from abroad that never came to the city.
So where did this 93 million go? hmmmm lets find out.
The commission recommended Putin be fired, but there were no immediate consequences. Putin remained head of the Committee for External Relations until 1996. While heading the Committee for External Relations, from 1992 to March 2000 Putin was also on the advisory board of the German real estate holding Saint Petersburg Immobilien und Beteiligungs AG (SPAG) which has been investigated by German prosecutors for money laundering.
because Russia did not link up and attempt to help the Polish at all Germany after putting down the military resistance killed hundreds of thousands of Polish civilians and shipped a large group of the rest to concentration camps to be killed. Both Polish and German military personnel losses are estimated at under 20,000.
Russia left her ally out to die.
I could get into more but why bother with a past full of butchering.
The exact number of casualties on both sides is unknown to this day, various estimates the casualties were made, falling into roughly similar ranges. Overall Polish casualties are estimated at 200,000, mostly civilian
The Red Army, which was ordered to halt and therefore positioned just a short distance away on the right bank of the Vistula, was ordered not to link up with or in any way assist the Resistance forces. Post-war political considerations and malice by Stalin are seen as the reason for the Red Army's failure to act.Stalin ordered his forces to halt right before entering the city so that the Home Army would not succeed.
However, the Red Army did not extend effective aid to the desperate city despite standing less than 10 km from Warsaw's city center for about 40 days, and then moving even closer to the right bank of the Vistula river a few hundred meters away from the main battle of the uprising during its last two weeks. Stalin did not want to aid the Home Army, made up of likely opponents of the Soviet regime in Poland after the war.

Georgian nationalists have also threatened the Javakheti region, where many Armenians live
gardengreens 2 years ago
It was georgia who attacked Abhazia and Ossetia, Russia supported the smaller nations. When Kosovo wanted independance, USA supported her, while Kosovo people chaised out Serbians from their homes in Kosovo, Abhasians and Ossetians didnt chase out anyone, how is it logical that USA supports Kosovo and not Abhazia or Ossetia?
zerrgio 2 years ago
Actually Kosovo will never be part of United States or any other state.Abhazia and S.Ossetia "want" to join Russian Federation and this is actually occupation. The free democratic world would never accept it.

RT is just as corrupt as the Russian government. Russia can support the independence of these Georgian territories because no one else does. LOL Russia is further isolating itself and moving backwards in history while the United States, under the genius Barack Obama is moving forward. If Russia doesn't change, it will eventually completely melt down like the USSR did in '91. Molodetz Rossiya Molodetz!

No major breakthrough's were accomplished that would threaten the Germans such that they would consider a surrender until the Americans arrived and long after the Russians had weakly withdrawn.
kevin050780 2 years ago
The French would go on the defensive for the next year, leaving the burden of attack to Britain, her Empire and other allies, and subsequently the United States.
So once Again the fate of all those crappy countries in Europe and Asia are decided by whom? Russia ? nope she quit lol? France? Nope she went on the defensive and you never win wars while completely on the defensive. Oh that's right it was decided by the USA, the UK and Germany. Just like in ww2, how sad for Russia.. fail lol
kevin050780 2 years ago
The other Allied forces attacked but received massive casualties. However, appeals to patriotism and duty, as well as mass arrests and trials, encouraged the soldiers to return to defend their trenches, although the French soldiers refused to participate in further offensive action. Robert Nivelle was removed from command by 15 May, replaced by General Philippe Pétain, who suspended large-scale attacks.
kevin050780 2 years ago
On 3 May 1917 during the Nivelle Offensive the weary French 2nd Colonial Division, veterans of the Battle of Verdun, refused their orders, arriving drunk and without their weapons. Their officers lacked the means to punish an entire division, and harsh measures were not immediately implemented. There upon the mutinies afflicted 54 French divisions and saw 20,000 men desert.

"you couldnt have won both wars alone
I never said we won them alone however without our aid and assistance Russia is overrun in WW2 and there is no battle for Stalingrad for there would be no weapons. lol The tonnage of war supplies we supplied both the English and the Russians were what kept the war in Europe from being decided long before the Americans joined the war.
kevin050780 2 years ago
In short naval blockade, poor weather and civil unrest. Which should be treated as a causethat ended the war.
the US helped. but saying they played a massive put a single handly won ww1 makes you look like a retard. (australlia and canada did more fighting than the US)
the canadains joined ww1 and ww2 before you guys did. now thats a joke.
LukePhillipsWINS 2 years ago
the canadains joined ww1 and ww2 before you guys did. now thats a joke.
The Russians joined WW2 before us too however they joined on the side of the Nazi's and helped carve up poor Poland. Yeah Russia was just sooo heroic during WW2.......... not. Russia was just as bad as Germany throughout that time period.
kevin050780 2 years ago
It's military advantage was paper though. After four years of naval blockade Army rations were now so poor the troops were suffering from malnourishmen. The 1917/18 winter was particularly harsh and the crops failed. Feeding the army cause famine to break out among the civil populous in German. Inspired by the Russian revolution socialists encouraged civil unrest and strikes across the country. The infrastructure collapsed and the army stopped receiving supplies.
LukePhillipsWINS 2 years ago
After the German advances were halted in 1914 the advantage swung to the allies. The Germans were out number 5:4 on the western front. They had superior number but even in 1915 the supplies of food to troops significantly poorer than those to allies, however the allies were unable to breakthrough the German lines.
This was until Britain invented the Tank and the rolling artillery barrages that enable the first significant advances of the war.

I mean, I'm all for Abkhazia's independence, but seriously.

Today, the US is not the liberator it was in 1944!
jeffdolan 3 years ago

I'm certainly not denying the role America played, but it was the Democrats under
jeffdolan 3 years ago
However when it became apparent that your crappy country could no longer survive the attack let alone repel one from a Country not even 1/5 your size we realized that we had to come to your rescue. So along with taking out Japan, we also were able to split our forces and kick Germany's ass as well.

For you this may take a while.
kevin050780 2 years ago
yes russia caved in, but you still joined the winning side. the amount of troops you sent was tiny compared to other nations. you used french tanks and british uniforms.
"Where we used tactics your people used human waves."
please read history the americas used "human waves" just like anyone else. by that time the british where useing creaping artillity and mass tanks, the americans made no great breakthounghs. they only made supporting attacks with the french.
LukePhillipsWINS 2 years ago
Millions of men were freed up from the Eastern front when the coward Russia withdrew from the war. Yet somehow the French and English which to that point had made little to no headway suddenly are able make big pushes even though the Germans are now being reinforced!!!! Really? lol if you say so lol learn some World War 1 history
kevin050780 2 years ago

This russian nonsense is only a try for threatening the European Union. yes glorified by being invaded/murdered/voter intimidation and fraud in the elections of the Ukraine and Belarus (the Ukrainian election of a pro kremlin candidate was overturned by the people who stated that they were intimidated and cheated out of a free election and in the recount, yeah that's right the man who opposed Putin won but not without being first poisoned by some of Putin's thugs.
kevin050780 3 years ago

Calm down now you little commie, listen just because your used to your country killing your very own people on a daily basis doesn't mean the rest of the world will put up with your PURGES in other sectors of the world. At the same time, according to 2005 research by VCIOM, the share of Russians approving censorship on TV grew in a year from 63% to 82%. What truths are they censoring now?
According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, since 1992, 43 journalists have been killed in Russia for their professional activity (which makes it the third deadliest country for journalist in 1992-2006 period): 30 while Boris Yeltsin was President, and 13 since Vladimir Putin became President, as of 2006.
kevin050780 3 years ago
In January 2008, Oleg Panfilov, head of the Center for Journalism in Extreme Situations, maintained that a system of "judicial terrorism" had started against journalists under Putin and that more than 300 criminal cases had been opened against them over the past six years.
Hmmm people who oppose Putin find themselves being put on trial, yeah that is real freedom huh?
kevin050780 3 years ago
Since the early 1990s, a number of Russian reporters who have covered the situation in Chechnya, contentious stories on organized crime, state and administrative officials, and large businesses have been killed. On October 7, 2006, Anna Politkovskaya, a journalist who ran a campaign exposing corruption in the Russian army and its conduct in Chechnya, was shot in the lobby of her apartment building.
kevin050780 3 years ago
Russia has provided no evidence of war crimes. If there is such evidence it must be produced, investigated and acted on. But Russian actions are untenable. First, in its own military operations, Russia has violated successive UN Security Council resolutions which they themselves agreed. Most recently Resolution 1808, passed in April, reaffirmed Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as limits on the Russian peacekeepers.

so what did you expect them to do?

Maybe we should instead ask why Putin hasn't arrested one single criminal involved with the murder of innocent people within Russia herself. Former KGB murderers who slaughtered innocent people for the USSR walk among the innocent everyday. But since Putin is after all a criminal and murderer himself I suppose arresting these men would be hypocritical.

thats a neo-nazi/neo con statement if i ever saw one. Take a seat hypocrite.

Georgia struck first, child. I repeat, I was serving before you were a gleam in your father's eyes. In Russian, you call those such as you "bezkulturny". Don't step up to the adult table, you're not ready.

Oh and Putin had the opposition in Ukraine poisened and has killed journalists and oppressed them for years.
kevin050780 3 years ago

Vladimir Putin has been involved in two attempted voter frauds/intimidation we need look no further than the Ukraine or Belarus the Ukraine people actually fought back and had what is known as the Orange Revolution. The Belarus leader bought his election by giving over the oil pipeline in Belarus for Putin's assistance. and i should believe this guy why?

princemarcusagnew 3 years ago
and then there is Chechnya whom has fought against Russia trying to get its freedom what of them? Russia refuses who cares it was an internal affair then why is it when Georgia tries to reunify S.O. it suddenly then becomes Russia's business.

kevin050780 3 years ago
I never heard of a reunion by running over innocent people with tanks, destroying schools churches and hospitals...And if you answer that russians did that aswell, well i have another argument...Georgians build their military bases next to their cities...try to bomb a base without accidentally killing innocent people...and for gods sake, more people died in ossetia than did in georgia...why do they need 1,5 mill dollars?I bet that that was just an excuse...
tonyvice6661616 3 years ago
Russia has provided no evidence of war crimes. If there is such evidence it must be produced, investigated and acted on. But Russian actions are untenable. First, in its own military operations, Russia has violated successive UN Security Council resolutions which they themselves agreed. Most recently Resolution 1808, passed in April, reaffirmed Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as limits on the Russian peacekeepers.
kevin050780 3 years ago
first of all,if there was terittorial integrity, there wouldnt be any problem for georgia to join nato.but as nato asserted,as long as there are territorial conflicts,no country can be accepted. The same goes for georgia.
tonyvice6661616 3 years ago
Secondly, Russia has, in the contrasting cases of Chechnya and Zimbabwe, argued vigorously against what it sees as international "interference" in internal affairs of sovereign countries. In this case it has blatantly violated the sovereignty of a neighbouring (and democratic) country. China and the Non-Aligned Movement will be surprised by this new position.
Kind of hypocritical don't ya think?

During the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election, Putin twice visited Ukraine before the election to show his support for Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, who was widely seen as a pro-Kremlin candidate, and he congratulated him on his anticipated victory before the official election returns had been in. Putin's personal support for Yanukovych was criticized as unwarranted interference in the affairs of a sovereign state.

In May 1990, Putin was appointed Mayor Sobchak's advisor on international affairs. On June 28, 1991, he was appointed head of the Committee for External Relations of the Saint Petersburg Mayor's Office, with responsibility for promoting international relations and foreign investments. The Committee was also used to register business ventures in Saint Petersburg.
kevin050780 3 years ago
Less than one year after taking control of the committee, Putin was investigated by a commission of the city legislative council. Commission deputies Marina Salye and Yury Gladkov concluded that Putin understated prices and issued licenses permitting the export of non-ferrous metals valued at a total of $93 million in exchange for food aid from abroad that never came to the city.
So where did this 93 million go? hmmmm lets find out.

The commission recommended Putin be fired, but there were no immediate consequences. Putin remained head of the Committee for External Relations until 1996. The Red Army, which was ordered to halt and therefore positioned just a short distance away on the right bank of the Vistula, was ordered not to link up with or in any way assist the Resistance forces. Post-war political considerations and malice by Stalin are seen as the reason for the Red Army's failure to act.Stalin ordered his forces to halt right before entering the city so that the Home Army would not succeed.
kevin050780 3 years ago
However, the Red Army did not extend effective aid to the desperate city despite standing less than 10 km from Warsaw's city center for about 40 days, and then moving even closer to the right bank of the Vistula river a few hundred meters away from the main battle of the uprising during its last two weeks. Stalin did not want to aid the Home Army, made up of likely opponents of the Soviet regime in Poland after the war.
