Bruce, I truly don't see that BPMN is able to communicate processes to a business user. The keyword is that a DEVELOPER has to implement the processes. So we are VERY far away from enabling the business to implement processes they way they need them.
Events are useless if they can only be handled during the execution of a RUNNING process. What a business needs to be able to react to events that will trigger certain processes.
So we are in disagreement about the usefulness of BPMN.
