Evo ain't for sliding around. Turn sliding is basic. But like stand slides Naw broski I don't use my evo for that. Usin a dervish for that disclipline. Fast equals evo. Free ride...equals tan tien, dervish? Dunno free ride in anything but the evo. It's tough.

Tayler help, you look like youve been using the evo for a while, ive been practising standies for hours but i can only get to about 90 degrees then bail, i can do coleman 180 and glove slides but have you done standies and could you give me tips?

@longboarderdx27 unfortunately I suck at standup slides.. But I know you have to bend your legs, kick out the back while keeping weight to the front, then evening out the pressure on the front and back. to 180, you just have to carve in hard and put most the weight in the front.

@longboarderdx27 stand up slides are really difficult on the evo. The only advice i can give you is to really rotate your shoulders and let your hips follow. good luck man!

dude your setup looks awesome! the one thing i have a question about are the 42* trucks. how do they feel on the board since the deck is already meant to give the feel that your trucks are angled? since its like putting angled baseplates on angled risers. any feedback would be great since im looking into an evo and some angled trucks

Great vid i have the evo with half inch riser pads and randles 180mm trucks with abec 11 76 75 a gumballs and i slide perfect! Also my friend has bigfoot wheels and tjey slide just as good as ur wheels

Hey man your riding is great but the music...man i love rock and metal and screamo, but it is NOT longboarding music. Longboarding music is some really chilled out music that makes you think of the beach or speed. Learn to fly by the foofighters, slow motion by third eye blind, etc. Not trying to hate, but just a tip. Makes videos way more easier to watch

heres a tip on the evo, rock a 1/4th inch riser it will make you be able to have more control and grip and when you wanna thrash around the hood with supper loose trucks you wont have to worry about scrapping your rails! btw nice drift at 0:36

@tomkat95 Naw, i'm not good at standy slides. My friend can do it, but he also rode a different setup than me. It's easier to do stand-up speed checks with a top mount or drop through deck.

@WNSTNHWRTH Yeah, I recently got an Earthwing Mystery Model (Top mount) and it is amazing. It is actually easier to control the slides because you can dig into the slides easier. It is amazing for railing tight corners!
