Discus fish are always gorgeous. Discus can growth up to 6-8 inches. This tank is over kill. It is over crowned. There is no doubt it will be short live.

So many comments about the excessive amounts of fish in the tank. When he zooms in, look at the quality of everyone of them. No beat up fins, no sunken bellies, no ammonia burns, etc. It has a lot to do with how well the person takes care of the tank. Nice Roseline Sharks BTW.

I´ve counted AT LEAST 27 Discus and there´s supposed to be a minimum of 50 litres of water per fish, by my calculations you dont even have 23litres of water per Discus, which is way to little volume for those fish. I´d take at least half of them out

A magnificent video! Great driftwood, music choice, and stellar colors on all fish! I see only one flaw in the whole tank, and it's amazing too. I see one Roseline Shark missing a tail-fin. @TheRuss70 I have 3 Roseline Sharks in my own tank. Therefore, I was able to notice the unusual swimming pattern of the one in this specific clip. The fish uses a more aggressive wagging of his back end, instead of the normal graceful gliding motion via a tail twitch. Pretty amazing to see it moving around so well. Reminds me of "A Dolphin Tale", a movie where they applied a prosthetic tail to a dolphin (based on a true "tale"). Movie just released this year. Pretty interesting.

Great planted discus tank. I tried to have much more plantation in mine. But it seems my discus are much more alert. I noticed if I have CO2 injection a bit too high, they become lethargic.

Very nice Tuan. This is what i am going to get big size tank. Although i dont have taste for varieties discus color. I think your discus tank would be much more beautiful if you narrow down to 1-3 color variety maxed that way you should have a very nice color patern. Imagine a school of yellow leopard discus or a school of malboro red discus and a small school of snow white discus.....

That's a gorgeous tank for how many fish you have in there. A good general rule for discus is one per 5-8 gallons. Looks a little over stocked by those standards and that's not taking into account the other fish. However, considering how sensitive Discus are to changing water parameters, you must be doing a damn good job of cleaning this sucker. ;) Awesome looking tank, but you really might consider giving those guys a lil more room for happier fish. Excellent tank setup. I love it. I read through all the comments and no one has asked

what filtration system you use and I would also like to know what you feed them.

Many have commented on overstocking and let's see what the recommendation for

discus is...

1st discus needs 20G every other discus 10G.

240G tank gives 23 discus in total. Adult full size fish that is. Yours are not full size

yet. My conclusion is the tank is NOT overstocked but then I'm no expert I'm still learning.

How much did all those discus cost? because where i live the discus are £30 each which is about $50-$60 but ive got two discus that are about 6 inches long and we got them for £20 each or snakeskin discus for $25 each which is the cheapest that i have saw them
