@cessnaclub motor stock, with pipe, pc3, i bet he use wrong tune cuz only 161 whp, i seen r with any full systems, but weakest is 169 whp with right tune. and strongest is 174 whp

Fellow R1 owners, if you didnt know, we own stock busa's all day. Im a little excited as i didnt expect to kick my friends azz on one so badly back to back. it was my first time racing my R1.we side by side rolling about 50mph, i let him throttle up first multiple times.( so he had a car length). im not talking winning by a nose. im talking, walked him down. I was like DA@#. i didnt expect that. thats two busa dog tags so far. Hopefully i can retire now and not be tempted to run hard anymore.

i realize your post was 7 months ago, but just incase... i have the gytr slip ons and in my opinion they sound better. And incase you ever let a busa intimidate you i beat 2 already in multiple races (im 230lbs) and i dont have power commander. at rolling start side by side i let one friend get on his throttle first. walked him down. Can you believe i used to give these busa guys respect?? hmm. that was just a FYI. you probably already knew.

i have a 2006 with graves full system power commander and velocity stacks and put down 164 you need some better mapping you should be at 170

That can't be right. My 2005 R1 with just racing baffles and gutted Y, showed 157hp on dyno.

161hp at the back wheel is for the stock 2007 R1. Either you are doing something wrong or is the dyno that gives low hp for all bikes on it.

yeah, but suzuki limits their bikes from factory with speed limiters and cruise control and alot of un-needed crap, that and the 160HP with the gixxer is at the crank not the wheel.

no offense to anybody here, but i personally dont give a shit about "the bike world" i have been riding bikes for the past 12 years of my life and have seen more then my fare share of speed. and what would you consider a wheelie? a wheelie can be anything from a couple inches off the ground too a few feet. its all perspective..
