You might want to be sure that doing this is not causing the dog some discomfort. I notices that he whines often when he raised his leg. Having a dog that just has major surgery on her rear leg, this dog could have a knee or hip problem, that makes lifting his leg that high uncomfortable, and if so continuing to do it might cause more damage. It's a cute trick, but please be sure you're not causing your dog physical damage.
@TalaHassySassy The dog that is doing the behavior of lifting his leg is not whining! It is my other dog that is in his crate waiting for his turn that is whining. He was right next to the camera, so you can hear him at times. If you have a dog that has had a broken leg or injury, it is a good idea to strengthen the leg by doing exercises such as this. It is best to attain muscular balance and this means teaching the exercise using both legs which my dogs can do this trick with both.
@TalaHassySassy I only know this because my rescue Bandit did break his leg when he was 6 months old and after his cast came off, we took him to physical therapy. I learned a bunch of tricks and exercises that are great for dogs with injuries and how to use a variety of exercises to strengthen the muscles to ensure they are balanced. Thank you for your great message, because it is important for people to be cautious and safe with their dog! :)
I would love to teach this trick, however I feel my pup will not get the idea of raising his leg with the small object... maby I should try some books.
@OneCrankyFemale If he is not getting it use a book to target. Then keep raising books higher and higher then as he is about to touch it at it's highest point click for the raising of the leg and not for the touching of the books. Then start removing books. Hope that helps if your dog is not getting the easy button target.
@StupidSmartDogs I am entering them in a contest. I am hoping that one of them is creative enough to win. :) Thanks for watching them. :) Sorry there are so many. I am done, unless I get a new idea before the deadline. :)

This is Paras most favoured trick at the moment. But I taught it with stacked books. Funny idea of Bandit to sit on his target ^^
