oh come ON! if you want to compare, there is always some one to compare people with, especially when they are beginning to find themselves as artists....david cook already won. it doesn't matter what happens in AI, archuleta will always be the goody kid with the big voice. cook knows what to do with every song given to him, he's smart and talented. anyway, getting "noticed" has way too many interpretations. you cannot possibly compare where he was before (back up stage) to where he is now

Everyone means well and is being caring to David, but can we please be sensitive to not say his brother is DYING of cancer. Not only might he recover, but if David or his family come and read these, a very real possibility, it will make them feel worse.
I think the brilliance of David Cook comes from the fact that he's done so many wonderful pieces of original work already. Sure, he's done a good job with other's songs on AI, but this stuff, and his Analog Heart album, is truly fantastic.
I'm fond of Daughtry, but I think Cook should be flying past him right now. There's something about his voice that is just truly amazing.

from what i've read about his family, this is what i understand. Mr. Stanley Cook had a son named Adam with a previous relationship/ marriage when he married Beth. They had 2 sons named David and Andrew. When David was around 11 yrs old his parents got divorced and his mom, Beth married Mr. Grenvel Foraker. That's why they refer to David's mom as Mrs. Foraker now. I also believe that David has half sisters and half sisters, too. But the ones that are focused on are his brothers Adam and Andrew.

His cds are real tough to find online. I am from Warrensburg, where he went to college, so I had rare access to the cds. I listed 3 of his cds on ebay a few days ago. Check those out if you want his older stuff.

Everyone means well and is being caring to David, but can we please be sensitive to not say his brother is DYING of cancer. Not only might he recover, but if David or his family come and read these, a very real possibility, it will make them feel worse.

I think the brilliance of David Cook comes from the fact that he's done so many wonderful pieces of original work already. Sure, he's done a good job with other's songs on AI, but this stuff, and his Analog Heart album, is truly fantastic.
I'm fond of Daughtry, but I think Cook should be flying past him right now. There's something about his voice that is just truly amazing.

he didnt put AC on his guitar because of this song he put it on his guitar because of his brothers Andrew and A....I dont know what his other brothers name is but it starts with an A...... anyway this song was also named after them and he has a tatoo that says AC.....FWY Im not a stocker or anything I was just watching this show about the Idol Contestants and this info happened to pop up so...yeah I<3David Cook!!

yea but if that were true then David would have his mum's new name ..his father name not Adam's father name, which is Cook .. u understand? the child usu carries his father's name unless he's adopted in which case he should have his mum new name ... it seems to me like Adam and David got same father.. if they're half bros it means two diff mothers which i find hard to believe...

from what i've read about his family, this is what i understand. Mr. Stanley Cook had a son named Adam with a previous relationship/ marriage when he married Beth. They had 2 sons named David and Andrew. When David was around 11 yrs old his parents got divorced and his mom, Beth married Mr. Grenvel Foraker. That's why they refer to David's mom as Mrs. Foraker now. I also believe that David has half sisters and half sisters, too. But the ones that are focused on are his brothers Adam and Andrew.
