I do agree that there are far fewer women who display a dominant aptitude for science and math, but that could also simply be because of the biases towards subjects instilled by our culture, where creative writing is usually more a "woman's domain", a stereotype I hate btw.

I love music and have played guitar for 9 years which is as long as she is old, and I still can't play nearly as good as her. And piano is harder!!! So if u don't have anything nice to say. 309hjk...i have seen Emily play three times...everything from goofing around during a sound check to her playing Mozart. The last time I saw her was at a ravinia sponsored event, at the end of her songs she asked the children in the audience to give her song ideas...they gave the ideas...and she on the spot composed a song from the idea...granted they weren't elaborate but it was Emily who was composing and even though short and sweet they were good.

I haven't seen any proof that she is composing this music. I can tell though she has an incredible talent for playing the piano. Like when the guy on GMA says to her "you compose" she does not respond but with a blank stare. Made me kinda wonder.
Proof? Her 3 CD's that state she is playing her own compositions and the sheet music crediting her with writing the songs isn't enough? Or the fact that she's won an award for "Northern Lights" in a songwriting competition isn't enough for you?
Emily Bear has composed over 300 songs on the piano. These are her songs. She nobody else has composed this music but her, moron... she's had her music published and even has CDs of her music out now. She also has her own sheetmusic and nobody else has claimed to compose it. That's not proof?

309hjk...i have seen Emily play three times...everything from goofing around during a sound check to her playing Mozart. The last time I saw her was at a ravinia sponsored event, at the end of her songs she asked the children in the audience to give her song ideas...they gave the ideas...and she on the spot composed a song from the idea...granted they weren't elaborate but it was Emily who was composing and even though short and sweet they were good.

this girl is just a genius. i mean, there are a lot of very talented children that can play flawlessly, but this girl can do that and she also composes wonderful tunes. She's a complete musician and she has a bright future ahead.

I haven't seen any proof that she is composing this music. I can tell though she has an incredible talent for playing the piano. Like when the guy on GMA says to her "you compose" she does not respond but with a blank stare. Made me kinda wonder.

Emily Bear has composed over 300 songs on the piano. These are her songs. She nobody else has composed this music but her, moron... she's had her music published and even has CDs of her music out now. She also has her own sheetmusic and nobody else has claimed to compose it. That's not proof?

I am a piano player since youth, and Mozart has and will be my mentor, however, this Emily Bear, wow!!!! Thats all that can be said, she is 1/5th my age (32) and she inspires me more than Mozart at a comparable age, the truth is the the truth with any piano enthusiast. She plays with no sheets, and she straight up kills Mozart.... she also composes????!!!! Little Emily, Keep on kickin A**!!!!

With the world in such a mess, Emily can remind us that there are beautiful children with amazing talents to bring joy to us all. She is greatly blessed with her music, a family that loves and supports her and a public that wants to see her write and play her music. She's a blessed child! We are blessed to see her here.
