My granddad was an officer in the Capitol Police and he is the ONLY guard ever photographed at his post of standing watch over the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in the National Archives in the 1950's. He was an immigrant from Sweden (through Ellis Island) He would be so heartsick to see what we have let this nation become. he was so proud of his time guarding those priceless documents.
I hope we can reclaim the country he was so proud to call HIS country.

When they see me with Ron Paul buttons and shirt, they come right up to me and start talking Ron Paul. Unlike the other kids, they know him and his message. They've seen the elephant and know the truth of what's going on. That's why Ron Paul gets far more monetary support from the servicemen than all the other candidates combined!

I'm losing hope. Everyone around me is a liberal. I don't know of anyone with ambition anymore. Everyone has become dependent on someone else keeping them comfortable. It's like the politicians have made the majority weak and is now thriving on it. I would think that the Republican debate candidates would be smart enough to project "what they can do for us" rather than pointing out faults of their opponent? Why risk losing even one vote?

@3martijns No, actually, I live in the Virginia Beach area. We have 21 military installations. We are very conservative. However, I think you are right about the fact that we are quiet. But if we outnumber the liberals, then how did Obama get elected???

Keep in mind that the left in this country has had pretty much a free and unopposed ride for the last 50 years. They are outnumbered and intellectually unarmed, we can and will beat them. Don't sell them short but at the same time "KNOW" we will win. It will be fun to see their reaction to a serious wall of opposition.

We have precisely the same issue in England. The Unite Against Fascism (UAF) movement is funded by the last and present government and has been responsible for vicious, hateful attacks. It was Churchill that said the fascists of the future will call themselves anti fascists. He was not wrong!

I'm not an US citizen, unfortunately, but it's most certainly in my interest too that the good guys win. And that's definitely not the loony left! I've seen the destruction and misery of socialism up close in Europe. Vote wisely, my American friends.
