Uh... Wrestlers openly admit (in their autobiographies, anyway) that wrestling is scripted, and more often than not, exaggerated (no, you did not see that one guy get slammed ten feet to the ground, it was more like six feet, and yeah, most of those punches are being pulled).
Well, when people say its fake, they generally say it because of the hits not landing and damage not actually being sustained (and I am not talking about scratches here and there). You don't have to act like your above anyone else by pointing out an obvious fact, it just makes you look like a fool.
So basically, you are right, it is a scripted event... but they imply that damage is being sustained when there actually isn't, so there are aspects that are fake. Think about it...

@bodgukalism its scripted being that behind the scenes everyone know swho is going to win, even refs and commentaters. they scripted part is that the wrestlers are told what moves to perform at certain points into the bout, for example john cena might be told to finish of the undertaker after 10 minutes, and as such the wrestlers will improvise for 10 minutes then john cena and undertaker will set themselves up for john cena's victory
