Josephine cheated on Napoleon to apparently do it so as to give Napoleon more influence in French political infrastructure, now Napoleon is cheating on Josephine to create and heir and secure his dynasty in the hopes of assuring the Welfare of France. napoleon talks about his child speaking with a horrible french accent. the makers of the film obviously didnt know that napoleon himself spoke french with an accent. he was born on an italian island that was taken over by the french. he had an italian accent
@ChaationBergin actually napoleon had many mistresses after josephine was caught in adultery. tho he always loved her and grieved greatly at news of her death, she was not number one in his bed after her affairs became clear to him, early in their marriage. also understand that in this time, sex was not a real big deal, especially for the people of france, but adultery was to be kept quite, her problem was that napoleon was thought a culcold at the time, she paid for this the rest of her life.
