Just to put my 2 cents in, I got behind egoraptor for this because of his sequelitis videos. He was able to deconstruct games and have an intellectual opinion on them, with obvious knowledge on video games, design and how they work. He's the best suited to be a tester (I know that the actual job offer is different this season) and unless I can see the other people having knowledge of design etc. then they're all just avid video gamers, which doesn't make them more suited for the job than arin
