I'd put a sling that carries 15 shells on the shotgun, get rid of the "badge" as it will only get you shot when shi* hits the fan. Load up on No# 1 buck (30 cal) / personal defense and maybe No#2 shot for hunting - a few slugs on the stock.

I'd toss the Glock and get a real gun (steel on steel) with a full duty rating that exceeds SAAMIS for surplus military ammo (steel case). I've seen several Glocks break their plastic captive recoil spring and guide rod assembly, Think TZ75 or CZ75.
