sorry, i half way agree with you. he can't hit the toms and snare as hard so it shouldn't hurt him but if those symbals are ringin like that than he is hittin em pretty good and they would be pretty freakin loud. maybe not over 90db but sure close to it.

The funny thing is that I'm 40, and I'm learning drums/bass with my late bloomer self, and I practice to those exact same songs. Parliament, Journey, EWF! I sound about like him too.
