Besides, if you want to take this all the way with show/movie, the legends can have offspring (they just won't in game so you don't abuse it) and those offspring can be caught. I believe there was someone who had an Articuno in the original series. Oh BTW, the pokemon show is an Anime, not Cartoon. lol at my nitpicking.

1: His stats are nothing special.

2: He's able to breed via Ditto to produce copies of himself (Aside from the weird Manaphy/Phione relationship, no legendary can breed)

3: I think the legendary music was simply to make the fight with Rotom scarier. The entire point of the Old Chateau was to freak out the player. Having this weird Pokemon pop up and use music you might never have heard before is a great way to do that.
