what about cantabile it does this plus records your playing automatically in case you play something and want to listen to it again and that is both audio and midi it records. The interface looks cool though
@Splinta13 yeah, it's perfect for someone using an external sequencer, it can receive all types of midi, just route midi like normal and sequence your stuff.
@squidskunk did you actually watch the video? It's a vst plugin host so you can use vsts and fx without running a full daw on stage or on a second computer.
@SoundsAndGear lol, you only mention it a billion times :) This'll be good to use inside a virtual machine and use midi2lan into my mac, good stuff Joe.
@undagroundstdio lol, it's all good man, I figure he probably didn't really watch the vid, but I'll explain it again anyway for others passing by :) Yeah that would be a dope application for using pc only plugs on your mac, routing midi audio via lan interface from a virtual machine. Goodness.
@squidskunk lol you asked what the software did, the whole video including the title is about what the software does, I thought you were being sarcastic.
Were you seriously asking me that questions after reading the title and watching the video?
I answer questions all the time, have no problem doing it, but found it hard to believe you watched the video and thought it was "cool" when you asked what the software was. I thought you were messing with me lol.
@goongod I've messed wit vstack, it's cool, but old, I like this better actually, but I like that vstack can be loaded as a vst. I also like chainer, from xlutop, it's cheap too and can be loaded as a vst but doesn't have an interface like this which is very useful in live situations.
whuts up St. Joe I noticed that you tried the beatthang virtual. Did you like it at all? Are you using it for production? Let me know because I'm thinking of getting it. Please relate your experience
@pppeeeppee I got a few videos on here with it, it's coo, I like the drums in there, and some of the riffs, it's not a vst yet so I con't use it much, if they finally make it work as a plugin I'll prolly use it more, right now it's just not up to where I need it yet.

How did you get the cpu load to display?
cast390 7 months ago in playlist BloXpander - VSTi HOST
@cast390 it's part of the software, it's been so long since I did this video I'm not sure, as I no longer use it.
SoundsAndGear 7 months ago
@SoundsAndGear Thanks for your answer but I can't find that feature anywhere
cast390 7 months ago
@cast390 it's definitely in there, unless it was removed in an update.
SoundsAndGear 7 months ago
Is this a midi only application?, or could you use this with something like guitar rig
cast390 11 months ago
@cast390 it loads any vst plugins so you can load up whatever you want inside of it.

What about DXI plugins? I seem to notice that DXI plugs fading away. less support for them and more for VSti. Are Dxi plugs like the B4 II obslete ?
Naughtry 1 year ago
@Naughtry not sure, I don't mess with dxi plugins at all

Can this be sync'd with an external sequencer such as an mpc or do you know of a vst plugin host that isnt a full daw that can be sync'd to an mpc?
Thanks alot in advance
