  • Who did the bass solo? Was that dan?

  • i hope this is tabbed somewhere

  • @lukyganesh pretty sure on ultimate guitar.

  • @cbricel20 negative. there's a boot scootin boogie, but no boot dagger boogie

  • @lukyganesh well, dammit.

  • sounds like something out of Sonic

  • i cant stop listening to this solo his buildups are great

  • He needs to put out a guitar solo album.

  • Sometimes I must admit that I almost force myself to like BTBAM's music, (like with their EP), but this I can genuinely say that I really enjoyed listening to :)

  • @porchmonkey401k This REALLY sounds like Paul though?

  • @Kryptik316 this... is... PAUL!!! GODDAMNIT THIS IS A COMPILATION ALBUM!!! BUMBLEFOOT CALLED A BUNCH OF METAL GUITARISTS TOGETHER AND TOLD EACH ONE OF THEM TO WRITE, RECORD, AND FEATURE AN ORIGINAL SONG ON THIS SPECIFIC ALBUM GOD YOU FUCKING PEOPLE ARE RETARDED! DONT ANY OF YOU FUCKING ATTEND SCHOOL????!!!! I FUCKING HOPE NOT YOU STUPID FUCKING MORONS!!!!!!

  • @Kryptik316 Actually, it really be more accurate to say this is Paul, the drummer, and bassist. This is just something written by Paul and played by 3 members of btbam =\

  • If i had Tab of this...oh my fucking gaawwwwwdddd xD...someone tab it PLEASE??!!

  • @HiPPoKryPtiC bumblefoot put together an album with all these guitarists, this is bumblefoots album, paul waggoner just plays on the first track

  • 1:10 into 2:18, all of it.. phenomenal.. this is amzing

  • @HiPPoKryPtiC I wish paul waggoner would put out solo stuff. Like the stuff we here from 1:10-2:00 because thats his best playing. Such great feel its sickening

  • @Ballin72591 oh of course, im sure everyone who has heard him and what hes composed would love to hear a solo album, but you apparently know All about Between The Buried And Me, right? cuz thats where its at

  • @HiPPoKryPtiC oh yeah dude BTBAM's great, but there not my favorite band. However Paul Waggoner is my favorite guitarist, hands down. Best solos ever.

  • this could just walk onto a BTBAM album and fit perfectly. I love how you can just tell a guitarist.

  • All hail Paul Waggoner!

  • wow, if this was all paul then paul is basically the sound of btbam

  • kinda confused as to why someone uploaded 4:48/5:23, only a 35 second difference

  • just jizzed my pantys

  • intro kinda reminds me of ants of the sky

  • @whycollective yeah true... both start with diminished 7th sweeps...

  • HOLY SHIT! Why haven't I ever heard this!?!??!?! wtffffff incredible

It resembles colors a lot, very beautiful

  • 1:10

    came

  • Did I misread something, because I swear reading somewhere this was actually going to be used in Colors. Or at least, a possible thought. The beginning kinda reminds me of Ants of the Sky.

  • @whycollective that lazy riff recycling bastard lol, the rest of the song was pretty original sounding though especially the part at 1:10

  • @upnorthtoker douche Paul > Your life

  • I've got to say I wouldn't be upset if they spliced this into a new BTBAM song for an upcoming record. It's very them.

  • How did I not know this existed until now?!

  • My only complaint is that the song is too short and ends too abruptly, which isnt Paul's style.

  • @Yousuck00 i dont remember how long this is, but it doesn't end abruptly. that's just this video.

  • @Falling7Rain hey brandon

  • This is so gooood!

  • Where the hell did you get this?

  • @metalfun111 hyeaa for when they dont have money to pay for there um..recording

  • This is awesome. He needs to make an entire record of this.

  • Man this is BTBAM without vocals.

  • sounds a lot like autodictat

  • This COULD sound like a BTBAM song if every other instrument got a bit more attention. The drums are too bland to be anything Blake would ever conceive ;)

  • @MyEggIsBoiled Dude i think Blake did record the drums lol

  • @itsvoogle GASP! Then A) I'm an idiot and B) The drums just aren't as cool as a BTBAM production. How about that? Hahaha.

  • @MyEggIsBoiled ya haha i know what u mean,,,but i don't think Paul wanted any other instrument to over shadow his guitar work, so everything else is relatively simple so his guitars stand out the best...c:

  • @MyEggIsBoiled Song was written by (Waggoner/Briggs/Richardson)

    Guitar - Paul Waggoner

    Bass - Dan Briggs

    Drums - Blake Richardson

  • anything paul has ever had anything to do with just aoutomaticly kicks ass.

  • @sirgaryhimself13 damn straight man....i would listen to audio of paul taking a shit.

  • its amazing how it goes from crazy, maniacal to those beautiful harmonies at 1:10

  • 1:10 this band is amazing.

  • 1:14 is beautiful

  • This sounds like a cross between Ants of the Sky and Fossil Genera. (Y)

  • 1:45 reminds me of ad a dglgmut

  • @metalfun111 what you don't have money to pay for your recordings?

  • I just really like how off kilter and odd yet exotic his playing sounds, like it sounds kind of out of tune or bipolar, but its just so good. he's just insane.

  • best track on this VA album, and is it just me or was anyone else expecting to hear "Marvel Vs. Capcom 2" after the very last note? well... if you actually have the whole song great cut-off post uploader.

  • that bass part reminded me so much of viridian from color's....there for it was fantastic! haha dan briggs and paul waggoner are waaay to good

  • @zero88777 me too

  • @zero88777 Briggs did play bass on this lol

  • I got an erection during this... like seriously idk why. Not sure if it was from this or because I have porn open in the other tab.

Wait I closed that tab 5 minutes ago.

Oh well I'm going to go fap.

  • thats gotta be dan on bass cause thats his sound. BTBAM is full of amazing musicians and Paul Waggoner is definately no exception to this.

  • Sounds like Dan also played bass on this track. Anybody able to verify that?

  • @FrttMs blake and dan are also playing in this track.

  • who played bass solo?!~

  • @alexropo Probably dan briggs.

    sounds like him.

  • @xECWx33 lmfao

  • I would love to know who the background-musicians are on this excellent song.

  • this song is much happier than other between the buried and me songs

  • @TheVitushkin cuz this isnt a BTBAM song

  • @metalfun111 haha damn that made me laugh

  • Comment removed

  • he is so freaking good its absolutely ridiculous

  • hah...boot dagger...wonder if anyone else gets the dvd reference

  • Haters go home

  • The transition from wacky/cartoonish scary-jazz into the beautiful melodic section is brilliant... visual artists use that contrast-technique too (it enhances the illusion... like, a pretty thing next to an ugly thing looks more pretty than it might standing alone... it's superficial of course, but that's art!).

  • @tobynsaunders extremely well said

  • This must be my favourite song ever.

  • Hollar, I'm going to the show at Filmore in Feb. with Cynic. I'm mad stoked to see them sharing the same stage.

I love the bands that have so much potential to be put on the radio but neglect the main stream and choose to play raw on stage and in CD only.

    Lub me sum Waggoner

  • i Realy want to Learn this but there are no tabs anywhere :( and BTBAM are awesome

  • If you dig this, then check out ron jarzombek's solitarily speaking of theoretical confinement. jaw dropping........

  • He makes playing chromatic cool!

  • Epic. . . Love BTBAM

  • Paul is my favorite, love btbam

  • 1:10 to 1:29 is wonderful.

  • What is Paul Waggoner's solo album called? I NEED IT!

  • he dosent have one, but i totally recommend getting this album, it full of guitarist that have some of the most craziest skill

espceically paul waggoner and shane gibson

  • he definitely got it from jamie king.

  • something tells me he got the name for the song from his producer jamie lol, from their great misdirect studio video.

"how important is the boot dagger to the grand scheme of life jamie"

"well, its a very important security feature" lol

  • nah this song is way older than that. the boot dagger was probably paul's anyway haha.

  • ! someone else caught on to that. and it means you bought the dvd,or atleast around people who do. you can be very possibly be a new friend already..

  • that was on the studio footage

oh what you don't have money to pay for your recording?

    *stabs air

  • well he could have, but paul wrote and recorded this wayyyyy before the great misdirect.

  • HAHAH PAUL IS FREAKING INSANE!!!

  • so do all of ya have money to pay for your recording?

  • hh-ha ha!

  • this song sounds like something between the buried and me wrote while tommy rogers was stuck in traffic on the way to practice.

  • @DallAss612 I wonder fuckin why...

  • @xwolbx well my first instinct tells me that paul had a lot of help in writing this song from other members of BTBAM.

no need to be hostile. it was a joke.

  • @DallAss612 haha, or when he was stuck on the can

  • @DallAss612 LMAO SO TRUE

  • dont hate

  • I CANT WAIT FOR THE HALLOWEEN BTBAM SHOW AT THE ORANGE PEEL!!!!! I got my ticket as soon as they started selling them, I'm the third person to have a ticket, my two buddies are the first two!!!! FUCK YES!!!!!!!

  • Anybody got a cookie?

i think this guy wants one pretty bad.

  • Haha, actually, a cookie would be awesome right now! :D

  • haha i thought thats what you were after. just ask next time.

  • will do! :D hahaha...

  • You lucky son of a bitch! I have to miss that show because at my job everyone's required to work halloween. (fucking god damn you, Little Caesars!!!) I'm going to have to go 2 1/2 hours away to Columbia SC to see them on Nov. 23 instead.

  • @Metalcortaku i'd quit little ceasars if it meant seeing btbam live. anyday of the week

  • @dimebad It actually worked out pretty well, I'm going to see them a the Filmore Charlotte in February with Cynic, so I'm content. Still, it would have been pretty sweet to see them and Glass Casket.

  • tight hahaha,

  • i was there. amazing show. i went down there all the way from maryland. amazing show

  • @AntsoftheSky92 indeed it was. I met Tommy, Paul, and Dan after the show. They're all really nice dudes.

  • yea, whats really funny is on the way down there, me and my cousin got stuck in traffic, and we look to our right, and its tommy driving his van. it was a complete stand still so tommy got out and gave us some stickers. it was so coincidental that we were going to see them and we saw em on the way down there.

  • @AntsoftheSky92 DUDE!!!! whoa!! That's awesome!

  • i met paul waggoner it was so awesome!!!!!

i met him him when i saw them in connecticut

  • Dammit! There's something wrong with my rapidshare!!! Could you post it on mediafire pretty please?

  • i'm with zenoob

  • jesus...

  • ... Yes!

  • The intro is a lot like ants of the sky but it's still fucking awesome

  • maybe the first 5 seconds of it?

  • hopefully this is a preview of part of the new album

  • no.

  • it's not

  • nah this was written a loong time ago.

  • sounds like BTBAM = awesome

  • sounds so fucking epic

how can i show negativity towards this album since i see a couple of guitar greats on here

  • this is fucking amazing. when that melody kicks in around 1:10, i want to cry. I love you, Paul Waggoner.

  • The excellent bass work of Dan Briggs should also be noted in this song =D

  • na its paul doing everything

  • really? because it does sound like Dan's signature bass playing

  • it is, google the album, it says that Dan does his bass tracks on this song, and Blake does his drumming on this song also

  • no? listen to the bass solo

  • so paul is playing drums.....?

  • I hope your joking lol.

  • haha naa blake richardson plays drums.. and im pretty sure dan briggs plays too

  • yall are retarted, tihs is definitely blake playing drums, and dan playing bass

  • yeah it is actually, who's saying it isn't?

  • woulda been sick if they got aj minette to do somethin on this album

this song is incredibly beast though

    like everything paul writes :)

  • I went to school with that guy. he needs to return back to the human abstract cause they suck balls now :(

  • yea didnt care for the new album at all

  • @Suigetsu1337 the human abstract needs a different singer. whatever aj minnette finds he will make it epic. im sure we havent heard the last of him.

  • @dimebad He's co-writing/producing THA's next album. And Nathan's gone, even though I like his singing quite a bit. Screamed vocals are reaaaalllyyy, bad, though...

  • Paul Waggoner was never in The Human Abstract.

  • he was replying to the kid about Aj minette.

  • lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This makes me jizz my pants just even thinking about BTBAM's New CD.

Paul sets an amazing feel in every song he plays.

  • when was this song released?

    its amazing!

  • shouldve been on colors.

    ..SHOWTEK FUCKED IT UP MAN!
